we loved the cocktails especially the lupti lu, the outdoor vibe, our view at our table (once we got it). Food was great grouper tacos and smoked tuna dip both excellent. The only issue we had was we put ourselves on the waitlist around 430pm and it was going to be about a 2-2.5 hour wait. we arrived at 630pm and checked in, did some shopping grabbed a seat at the bar. At 7pm the Yelp app said we were still 57th to be seated which seemed concerning so i check with the hostess and she apologized and sat us right away. We ended up at a table for 6 (we are a party of 2) they do not have many small tables and cater to large parties. so if you are a party of two and manage to grab seats at the bar STAY and EAT there! but over all we will be back!
Visited LuLu's as we always do for our beach trips. Utilized the Beat the Wait option on their website and still had a 90 minute wait but expected with as busy as they stay during the summer. The waiter was very friendly and efficient, the food wait was long which our waiter kept apologizing for. Food was disappointing and didn't taste like we had remembered from previous trips. It's a very touristy location to visit at least once and often has live music for entertainment.
We decided to hit Lulu’s right at 11am for lunch. Still busy, but wait was just 10min. Great gift shop, activities for kids and even fake tattoos and hair beads. Food was delicious and on par for costs in Gulf. It is an open air restaurant. We sat on the water and there was a nice breeze and ceiling fans. Boats went by. Service was good - waiter was moving constantly. Blackened Red snapper is delicious. Excellent tartar sauce.
We utilized the beat the Wait option. We still had a long wait because LuLu's is always busy but the Beat the Wait option saved us at least 1 hour. My kids love LuLu's. Our snapper was cooked perfectly. Cannot wait until next summer. I am coming with my Crazy Sista's :)
This was a very good restaurant with great service and food. Lots do during extensive wait (about 2 hours) and appetizers and drinks available at bar while waiting. Server was excellent and food was good.
This place was just as good as the one in Destin! We got here at 1030 for lunch 11 ( worth getting there early there was a line by 1045 we got seat by the water. We all enjoyed our food pulled pork sandwich was very tasty! Or server was great! Great job lulus def would go back again!!
Food was delicious, service was good, desserts were excellent. Nice outdoor ambiance right along the river.My only gripe was that the house margarita was way too weak. Needed to feel more gravity when I stood up. LOLA little pricey but would definitely recommend to anyone in the area.
One of the best places in the Orange Beach/Gulf Shores area for fun for everyone! Great things to do for the kiddos and brilliantly fun drinks for adults. We go to Lulu’s every year because we love it. Yes, it is known to be a “touristy” spot, but it’s still one of our go-to places when we’re in Orange Beach. Pro tip: if you go for lunch, it is not nearly as crowded as the dinner rush. You can get seated and served pretty quickly. Although, if you go for dinner and it is crawling with people, you can get on their online wait list and enjoy the fun drinks, do some shopping, watch the kids play at the many kid friendly attractions on the property.
Lulu's was absolutely amazing ?. Super nice place. Very family oriented. The staff were all awesome. The food, well you just can't say enough good things about it! Lulu's is a must when visiting Gulf Shores Alabama. It is truly a hidden gem!
The wait was a little long, so use the online wait list. The service was great and food good. Had a food allergy in the group and had excellent service when ordering with allergies (they have a separate full menu for allergies) went above expectations.
