If I could leave this place 10 stars, I would! Fresh seafood galore. Large portion sizes at a amazing value. Drinks mixed perfect. Service is fast and friendly. Definite must away from the beach, but, not to far away at the same time. Give it a try you will not regret it! Try the grilled mahi-mahi, it’s phenomenal! Best key lime pie I’ve ever tasted!
The blackened fish tacos were great. A little different from most fish tacos I've had with flour tortilla and shredded cheddar. The bisque was nice and creamy. The crabcake sandwich was good, the bun was delicious.
Very enjoyable. Staff was a little slow when I first arrived, but once I was waited on service was prompt and efficient. I got the blackened shrimp tacos. Lots of shrimp and plenty of sides to go along with it. Lots of options and decent prices. Ample outdoor seating. I'll go back
Great experience at King Neptunes. When we arrived we were very pleasantly and promptly greeted by a hostess who immediately found us a table. Once seated we were quickly greeted by our server and given drinks. While waiting for our dinners we enjoyed the Boom Boom Shrimp which we found to be just the right amount of hot and well balanced by the ranch if needed. We had Fish Tacos (pictured), Crab Cake Sandwhich and Popcorn chicken. All good, even if the crab cakes weren’t quite crabby enough for the impossible expectations of an east coaster. They were expectedly busy so we occasionally had to wait a few minutes if we needed something but it was never egregious. Definitely worth a try if you’re in town.
After going for so many years, it’s sad. We won’t go back. There was nothing like it was suppose to be. No drink specials, no food specials, no friendly staff…….When the food all came out cold, the manager said she took it directly from the window, but said she would replace it. She was nice. But other than that the service was terrible. Our server came back 2 times the entire meal, but never brought the condiments or silverware we asked for. It was a complete waste of money and more importantly a waste of time.
Food is AMAZING AND FRESH!!! Staff is friendly and speedy as well. Definitely have to stop by here if you haven’t already ❤️
We happened to stumble across this awesome gem. We ventured a little further inland away from the hustle and bustle.This place was quick, the staff friendly and the food superb. Try their seafood gumbo. It was on point and tasted great. The shrimp tacos were huge, and filling. The seafood platter was heavenly. They even had chicken tenders for our picky daughter.I didn't see it on the menu but later found out that they served boiled crawfish. The people next to us got those and said they were excellent. And then to top off an already great dinner, we ordered their fresh beignets. Yummy!Our waiter even took the time to share some of the things to do in the area. We did the free bikes in the state park. Well worth it! And the best part was it was free.Need a break from the crowds head to King Neptune's. You won't be disappointed.

Stopped in and had a shrimp poboy and cup of gumbo. The poboy was overstuffed with great tasting small shrimp and the bread was fresh NO French bread. The gumbo was a traditional seafood gumbo with cooked down okra and gumbo shrimp. The staff and our server were friendly and helpful. Glad we stopped in before we read the bad reviews.
The food, service, staff, promptness and the overall experience of dining at King Neptune's today was excellent! We ordered the platter for two and it was more than enough for two adults. It was so appetizing, that we started eating before I took the picture.
