Our family travels to Fort Morgan each summer and we were blessed to stumble across this great restaurant! Amazing service at the last minute for our family! KILLER Fajitas and we’re greeted by the owner who shared some special hot sauce with us! Thank you to all the staff who made the experience great for us! Will definitely be back every summer!

Order the Quesabirra! We had read online that it was good and it lived up to the hype! Amazing! The owner came out and chatted with us a few times, making us feel welcome and appreciated. Great service; friendly, fast, and reasonably priced. Best dining experience of our vacation!
If you go to Gulf Shores this is a must try , they have happy hour 3 dollar margaritas and a great selection of food. We had the Quesabirria tacos and they were so yummy . The service was great also and the location is perfect .
I ate here years ago, different ownership/recipes/ ambiance, didn’t really care for it too much then. But TONIGHT!! This food was beyond delicious!!! There’s so much FLAVOR in every bite. The whole experience waaaaayyyyy exceeded my expectations. I’m actually kicking myself in the butt because I’ve waited so long to give this place another shot. So happy I did. I believe I’ve found my new favorite. I hope y’all enjoy. Can’t go wrong, it’s all YUMMY. Cantina La Luz was a hit on our wedding day! Gary was more than accommodating! Food was fresh and hot and delivered right on time as well as setup to perfection! All of our guest commented on how good the food was! As you can see in the pic, someone couldn’t wait to dig in. Call Gary for your catering needs!

Service was great, however the food is not authentic. I don’t know if they claim to be authentic Mexican but it was quite disappointing. The meat was not seasoned well and the steak was particularly tough. I don’t like to use salt, but needed to add salt to the meat. The salsa was shameful and had no flavor; however the chips did come hot which I very much appreciated. One star for service, one star for hot chips.
This little Mexican restaurant is a hidden gem! Don’t let the simplified decor fool you, the food is the BEST Mexican food I’ve ever had and my husband and son who are picky eaters also agreed. Everything from the homemade salsa and warm chips to the chicken chimichanga. Fantastic and highly recommend. They would win some major tourist points (and crowds) if they would spruce up the vibe and decor a bit but overall this place is where you want to get your Mexican food fix. The only thing I’m sad about is that I’m leaving Gulf Shores and I won’t have this place back home.
