I went to Bahama Bobs in November and it was great.
Food was good. Gater bites and sweet spicy sauce were awesome . Shrimp Po boy was loaded with fried shrimp. Grilled scallops were cooked well. Kids enjoyed the tender baskets. The grilled shrimp and scallops left the wife wanting a little more. Food was good and we were happy with it. The bill was a bit more than expected, but vacation spot so I guess that is usual. We would come back. Richard was a great server, very attentive and made the experience. Thanks!
We have been coming to Bahama Bob's for years and it is always just as good as the last time. My favorite is the Seafood platter. Oysters are hard to cook right but they do them perfectly every time. Service us excellent. Be prepared to wait if you are going for the evening meal as it is so popular but so worth the wait. You can call in an order as long as they dont have a wait. We always stay right beside it or the next building down. We love it that much!!!
After recommendations and the reviews we had high expectations…sadly underwhelming! The best thing we had were the onion rings. We had coconut shrimp, Cheeseburger, crawfish po boy, grilled fish and shrimp. The food was ok but nothing that would make me want to return. Definitely not worth the wait…service was very good.
Coconut shrimp was amazing…fries were crisp. Daughter sprang for crab and loved it. Waiter was very friendly. Had a hurricane and wasn’t really a fan…sort of underwhelming in the styrofoam cup and the price for the size.
I was so sad that I only ate here once. It doesn't look like much, but the food is fantastic. I had the coconut shrimp and a seafood salad sandwich. We went at an off time and didn't have to wait for seating but I hear it can get quite crowded during peak times.
Amazing food! The wife and I tried the Bahama Bob's Burger, and it did not disappoint. It was so large that between the burger and the fries, I almost couldn't eat it all. The blueberry mixed drink I tried was also very tasty. The server who helped us was top notch and so friendly. If you are in the area, give them a try. You will certainly have a great time!
Bahama Bob's is SO GOOD we haven't even left yet & I just had to leave my review! Best little burger place on the beach - & yes they have more than burgers, but the Bahama Bob's burger is so yummy (& #BeachLife, so of course there's a pineapple slice on it). Great food, great atmosphere; what more could you ask for? & if you're seated in Kevin's section, you're sure to have a great night!
Best steamed shrimp and crab. Waiter was good and fun. Expect a wait but it’s worth it. Drinks were good and strong. Favorite place to eat in gulf shore.
