Everything is great! I love the pork salad, ribs, neck bones, all the sides!
We were in town for a funeral and decided to stop by after reading the reviews and we were thoroughly impressed!! I had the Rib Tips with Macaroni & Cheese and Fried Okra. The food was absolutely delicious and the service was wonderful! A nice lady explained the menu to us and then a gentleman served our food to us and wished me a Happy Mother’s Day, which I thought was a wonderful touch to the already awesome service. I should have known this was a good place just from seeing the drive thru lane backed up onto the street. If I’m Gadsden again, my family and I will return!
Good food and friendly folks! We will definitely be back for more!
Had to wait a little but the Food was hot and fresh! Personable staff!
I wish that I lived closer so I could eat here more often. This is just a classic family run Barbeque place with great food, great prices, great portions and friendly folks. There's nothing fancy about it, but who needs fancy. I'll take delicious over fancy any day. This is definitely my go to anytime I'm passing through Gadsden and need bite to eat.
The mac & cheese is my favorite. The ribs are fall off the bone tender. The catfish has a crispy, light crust. The baked beans are on point. The BBQ sauce has got a bite to it that I love. But the mac and cheese, though!
The food was good. I had the loaded BBQ potato and it was a large portion. We ate inside (they have a large drive thru business) and there was a definitive cleanliness problem. It was bad enough that I pointed it out to the gentleman working in the dining area. He made light of something nasty on the floor by saying "it's leveling out the table". In addition, the menu didn't have pricing listed by the meals. The BBQ potato was a deal at $6, but the same unmarked lunch menu charged me $14 for a BBQ plate for the wife: BBQ meat, 2 slices of bread, some so-so cole slaw and overly seasoned fries for $14. If the place would have been cleaner and the food prices well established, I would have rated this place at least a 4 but as it was it was lucky to get a 3.
Rib Tips & Sweet Tea was awesome!
It's really rare that I found barbecue that I actually love and reminiscent of home.. the peach cobbler was delicious as well
