I have to say that I am so extremely happy and impressed with not only the food, but also with the service, price and atmosphere. If I could talk my husband into it, I would eat there every single meal! I wish I could give 100 stars !!!
Food was ok, I’ve had better Mexican. I ordered the taco salad and the meat was like soup- I’ve never had a soupy taco salad before.
Food and margaritas were delicious, but definitely get the bigger of the two margarita sizes! The smalls are small and have lots of ice in them.

In my opinion use to be by far the best Mexican around, not anymore! Visited 2 months ago as a regular customer, absolutely horrible service and extremely hot and uncomfortable environment didn’t receive everything ordered and food wasn’t no where near as good as normal. Visited tonight for the first time since then and horrible!! Service completely awful extremely hot inside and very uncomfortable. Food was better than 2 months ago but still not like it was previously, even had to ask for chips and salsa. I just can’t see trying it again and definitely no time soon.
I walked in and stood for a minute. There were 2 employees too busy with the UFC fight to notice someone walked in. My server hovered above me. Literally asked if i was ready to order while taking a my drink order. There is no alcohol menu. So no ordered a margarita have to at a Mexican resturant if you don't know what else there is to order. The shrimp chimichangas were really good. The food came quickly. But the servers need to relax and let customers have time to look over the menu

El Patron has definitely won my business as best Mexican restaurant in Etowah County. OMG! Food was absolutely perfect. The courteous staff made it all even better. Definitely a 5 star in my book. Love it!
