The sandwiches here are outstanding. I kinda hate leaving this review because it’s going to ger crowded when people find it. I’ve had the cheesesteaks and the Italian. Really good quality and as good as any Philly around!
food was so delicious. but the online ordering doesn't work correctly. ordered and paid for our order and when we arrived it wasn't even started even though we were there after our arrival time for it to be ready. they had to search for the order and then we had to wait additional time for it to be prepared. great food just needs to work on the online order process
It's been a few years since I had tried the cheese steaks from South Foley but we were really excited to have them. They exceed expectations and we're absolutely fantastic. Truly exceptional Philly cheese steaks, especially if you get wiz. This is somewhere we are always happy stopping by if we are near it.Parking: Parking lot shared, easy to find spots and exit.
Super Hot, Super Good. These guys use bread from Philly and make them like the legends in Philly (without the hassle). Definitely a good lunch or dinner spot and won't break the bank. Try the egg rolls.
I give this a solid 3. I couldn’t give it a 4, but definitely middle of the road.My wife ordered the sausage sandwich, and I ordered the cheesesteak so we can try more than one flavor they had.The sausage sandwich was ok. The sausage didn’t have much flavor, but not too bad. It was cooked well.The cheesesteak was kind of a let down flavor wise. Minimal steak, and 0 flavor. It was all onion and hot peppers.Fries were decent fresh cut. Really greasy. But I don’t mind. Just can’t let them set too long.Huge portion for the sandwich for the money. We ordered Smalls, but it was a good portion.All in all I wouldn’t seek this place out, but would go back if someone wanted to try it.
We got the cheese steak fries and they were AMAZING. We will definitely be coming here again!
Under new ownership, and I'm questioning the direction. Previous owners had an authentic product that was consistently good. The new group? Not so much. They're now using a generic bread instead of the authentic cheesesteak rolls used by previous ownership, among other issues. Not sure I'll be going back. Foley lost a great restaurant when the old owners sold it.
I love this place's Philly beef sandwiches! This place over the franchise sub shops any day. So glad they are still open in this easy to miss location.
Best cheesesteak I've had. The owner is great and shows a real presence in the store. I love going in and seeing all the staff they are simply wonderful. Especially Eric, he is phenomenal!
We ordered 3 Philly cheesesteaks fries and a Philly cheesesteak sandwich. It had meat cheese and that’s it. No shooms, no peppers, nothing else.
