We were from out of town and were given this restaurant as a recommendation. We had a large party (27) and called a day in advanced to see about reservations. They took our party’s name and mentioned that they could seat us all down stairs. When we arrived, we realized how small the restaurant is. There was very little a/c and it was HOT. We were told then that they don’t take reservations and we could wait an hour and a half for a table. We decided to wait because as you can imagine, rearranging a dinner for 27 people would be hard. We waited over 2 hours and they still didn’t have enough seating for our party. When we called(having no knowledge of the size of the restaurant) they should have said then that they couldn’t accommodate a party of that size. They should have also been clear about the lack of reservations. They had good food but it’s hard to enjoy after sitting in 85 degrees for over 2 hours.
We had to wait about 45 minutes for a table but it was worth it. If you are in this area, it's a must. Waitress was wonderful, food was fabulous and sandy beach drink was delish. It was a little warm in there but it was 104 degrees that day.Loved this place!
This was our 1st time here but not our last. We got there early, got a table right away. Service was great. Food was fresh and hot. Good variety of delicious food. We had alligator bites, fish and chips and the fried oysters with wild rice. Yum ?
Oh my God!! The shrimp happens is delicious. The shrimp and crab dip is delicious! Great service. Great atmosphere.
We were on a 35 day camping trip in the southeastern states and stayed at the nearby McFarland Park and were told by locals to check out the restaurant. All of our food was good: loaded fries, beer battered chicken tenders, pimento cheese bacon cheeseburger. We would recommend this place. It floats on the water and the kids can feed the fish from the porch. Be careful though, the rope railing isn’t that secure. There is outdoor seating on the upstairs patio that overlooks the marina and Tennessee River.
Busy busy here!!! If you show up at dinner, you might have to wait an hour. Go for lunch, bring your jacket and sit outside. Beautiful view!!! You can watch people boating and fishing from the patio.The food was great. We tried our first Gator here!!! Try it, very good.Our server was super sweet and friendly. Happy atmosphere here. Also there's a beautiful park located next to the place. So if you're waiting for a seat, go walk around. Beautiful river and there's a swinging bench near the restaurant. You can sit there and look at the restaurant. The restaurant is actually ON the water. You walk on a dock to get to it. Worth the experience.Visitors from Canada ??Love from Kelsey & Lydia
Everything was great. We had the crab and shrimp appetizer it was fantastic. For dinner we both had the shrimp happens which is shrimp 3 ways it was great. Drinks were excellent. Best restaurant in Florence. Try the Miami Vice Daiquiri.
The service is fantastic, the food is outstanding, and the overall experience is cozy and satisfying.
Always a great place to go! Highly recommend!
