Today I had lunch @ this establishment. Haven't been there n awhile so looked forward to good service and food I had there before. it was around 12:30 so of course it was busy. I was seated fairly quickly, considering I was alone. A few minutes passed when my server finally came to my table. No smile, No greeting other than Take Your Order! I told her what I wanted. She said Bread? Drink? Took my menu and walked off. She brought my tea and Plastic utensils laid them on table and walked off. another lady brought my food. I never seen the server again until I was about to leave. No one ever ask if everything was alright during my me which the tenders were almost overfried. I had to pull some skin from the chk to b able to eat it. I worked as a server for 5 years. This was very disappointing experience.
Excellent Food with Fast Friendly Service!!
I stopped by about 1 month ago for some supper. I ordered meatloaf, white beans and steamed broccoli. They were out of corn bread so I had to get a flat roll bread. after about 15 min the waitress brought out my plate and glass of milk and left. I had to call her back over so that I could request some utensils. The meatloaf was good but had a chunk missing from the end. The white beans and roll very good. The steamed broccoli was ice cold not heated at all. After I ate I then had to request a napkin. Overall, just disappointed.

Food was good. Fast, inexpensive. Server took my order and dropped off my ticket, nothing more.
Waitress was really nice. They sell pepsi product so I got a sweet tea and it was good. Pinto beans, mash potatoes and cornbread muffin was delicious.
I have been traveling for the last 4 weeks across America & I was craving some southern soul food, something that reminded me of my younger years & had the opportunity to stop at Momma Jean's. WOW!!! I am so full!! It was AMAZING!! Reminded me of my grandmas cooking. PERFECT SOUTHERN FOOD!!I ordered the fried chicken, turnip greens, mash potatoes & gravy, slaw, hushpuppies, fish, mac & cheese, fried orka, roll, coconut pie, banana pudding, and peach cobbler. I wanted to order more but I knew I wouldn't be able to eat it all?? It'd be nice if they had a sampler option so you can try small bites of numerous foods. But regardless, I'm not complaining AT ALL!!The price was good & ordering out was easy to do & the service was friendly & fast, especially for it being a Sunday afternoon after church. I think I waited 20-25 mins tops!! And the place was packed with people. Reminded me of my younger years in the 80's/90's when food wasn't so processed. Very good and appetizing!! Just wish I had Momma Jean's back home. I'd go there all the time!
Second best breakfast I've ever had!! First was my Mamaw's! Amazing prices! Wonderful service! We are not locals but we will definitely come back here!
I love the food there they have a awesome staff. Everything was a good price. The French fries and Steak most definitely be back. Met a boy their named Dakota he was nice and they kept the place nice and clean. Be back for sure!
