great service and food last night. people crying and whining about this place obviously have something against them because every time we've been here the servers and staff have been friendly and polite and everyone is working hard to make our meal wonderful.
Was the best service my entire family has ever received from Jodie. Never met her before tonight. But felt like family instantly. She got ice for my grandson’s hand. It was accidentally closed in a door. Got milk for my other grandson’s bottle. We were a party of six & they were so busy it was just incredible how well she done her job & treatment of us! Highly recommend ask for Jodie.
This was our First time here, we just moved here from Georgia.The General Manager was Horrible. First I went to the bathroom, with my 2 Granddaughters and came out telling him concerned there was no soap. Then I brought him a piece of Red, Raw Pork, that was on my Grandsons plate, it felt like he couldn't be bothered, all he could manage to tell me is Sorry, Poor Attitude and Demeanor!Then finally Barbara a waitress that's been there since it opened , talked to the Regular Manager, and he proceeded to give us 2 free Adult Meals, because our first experiences was Horrible,...
Had breakfast Sunday morning . Clean restaurant ,great staff , our waitress was very attentive , kept us with hot coffee during our stay . Multiple hot and cold choices , good taste , good price $9.99 per adult . We had Tasteful fish , hash browns , bell pepper, fresh fruit … delicious pecan pie and lemon pie .
Food was really good on the bar. The only complaint I would have is that the need to change out the barbeque and pot roast more. Those 2 items were to hard to chew but everything else was fresh. I had 4 plates, a big variety of everything at the buffet and they passed the taste test.
After waiting 2 hrs for a table at olive garden and still not getting one we decided to go to Golden corral. Food was good. Our waitress was awful. She never filled our cups back up. We were there about 40 mins and every table around us was dirty and had not been cleaned off. We get up to get desert and she cleaned our table off and was in the process of giving it to someone else. When I told her we were not finished she looked at me like I was stupid. I finally said can we have our table back? She got smart with me. Took her about 10 mins to bring us new silverware where she had cleared the table without seeing if we had left. I noticed she was called into the office and the cooks come out of the back to clean her tables when she stood behind us at another table telling another customer that if one more person yelled at her she was going to make them regret it. She had ptsd and had to take an anxiety pill. And continued to complain about every illness she ever had. Having worked in the food industry before as a manager. I would never have an employee who spoke to customers the way she did. If she had issues with management she needed to address management not come out pouring it onto customers trying to enjoy a meal.
Went yesterday around 1pm. Food was all hot and fresh. Had chicken tenders. Pork steaks. Fish. Mashed potatoes and gravy. Mac and cheese. And bread pudding. They let us do our drinks in to go cups! And I tasted the orange chicken they had.
Food was mediocre at best. The steak was the best thing and it wasn't real good. Tender enough but not much flavor. Shrimp had WAAAAAAY to much batter on it. Not many veggies that were.even worth eating, the carrots were dried out from being under the heat lamps to long and had a very odd whiteish kinda coating on some. Our waitress stayed on top of our drinks OK but we were hanging out with friends we had not seen in awhile and she would just come up mid-conversation and interrupt us. Very rude.
Health score was a 76. Dishes were soaking wet like they had been washed but still had food caked onto them. After we found a decent set of dishes, got some food and sat down. Food was less than lukewarm by the time we sat down. Took two bites and decided to get our money back. Not worth it. Ended up going to Olive Garden (health score 96 there) and got way better food and service (for cheaper, actually). We went a few days ago and the refund we requested from GC is still on hold with my bank.tl;dr Don't waste your time or money.
Great food and great service. Our waitress was great my granddaughter was crying wanting her and she picked her up and was so sweet. Another waitress in the area was so nice too they both played with my granddaughter.
