Where to start. I want to love this restaurant. It’s extremely convenient for me but goodness. The service was so horrible I quit going for over a year. I finally returned and the service for trip one was great! The food is ok, nothing great, but trip two reminded me why I stopped going. It’s crazy how bad the service is. As a former server I just can’t believe how bad the service is. Just go any weekend night. There’s a reason there’s no wait. When you just sit there and employees are are looking at their phones or couldn’t care less it’s frustrating. There is one server who is really great. If you don’t get her, good luck. The food and margarita ls are just ok. There’s many other options even another great place within 3 blocks.
Great food and atmosphere. The price was incredible at lunch less than $10.00 plus tip. All the chips and salsa you could eat. I will be back
If I could give this place less than one star, I definitely would. We ate here after graduation, waited at least 45 min for our food and were practically the only people in the restaurant. When our food finally arrived, it was completely cold. The reviews across our party was pretty much mixed as far as taste, depending on their particular dish. I can only speak for the burrito, which was absolutely horrible. The taste was so bad, I could only manage enough bites so that my stomach wasn’t churning with hunger while waiting on everyone else to eat. I can honestly say without a doubt, this is the worst Mexican restaurant I have ever been to, I could have ignored the poor service had the food been decent. It could be that I, only with a couple more in our party just ended up ordering the worst tasting item on the menu with everything else being great? I can’t be sure, but there really are no words to how badly my plate of food tasted, from the rice to the beans to the burrito itself. I would encourage anyone that has a taste for Mexican, to keep looking elsewhere. ???
The waiter was very polite and made sure everything was taken care of but the food just was not as good as it used to be. The chips did not taste as fresh and the cheese dip was very watery.
Best drinks in Florence! The food is great most of the time but they seem to change out cooks often so the food is hit and miss but the mixed drinks are fantastic always!
Do not order from here through a delivery app! The portion is almost half what they give their customers who eat at the restaurant. Management doesn't care and even told me that next time I should just eat there if I want a full portion!
I eat here a lot. I generally get the same thing and love it every time. Most recently I ordered a burrito fiesta. Which has the option for you to get shrimp filled for $2 more. I always pay for this option and have never had a problem. I was told I would only get four shrimp if i got that option. Normally $9.99 plus $2.00 for shrimp filled. I don't feel like shrimp are expensive enough to pay $11.99 for tortilla filled with four shrimp.
The margs and Paloma’s are always the best✨
The food here has very little taste compared to other Mexican restaurants in the area, and it's also among the most expensive. There are better options in the Shoals.
