Love the Cracker Barrel, Good food.
We arrived on Easter Sunday at 1130, put our name in and waited to be sat at 1220. Our server, Blake, was very kind. Explained that it might take a while to receive our order because they were very busy. About an hour later he realized that our order had been lost or deleted from the computer. An honest mistake. The manager, whose name I do not know, was very kind. She took care of our meal seeing as how we had to wait another 20-30 mins after placing the order again. The food came out great and we were very satisfied. I write this review to remind you, the public, that it costs nothing to be kind. Not a single person on earth is perfect. Thank you, Cracker Barrel for taking care of us and pushing through a very hectic holiday in the restaurant industry.
Every time, EVERY TIME, I attempt to get a “to go” order it is wrong. Today I called for twenty minutes before getting a human - the website was not working properly - and I then had to wait forty-five minutes for the food. I ordered four plates and every one of them was shorted one side item and break. One was shorted three side items. Going there is much more effort than the food will ever be worth.
Called for 30 minutes to try to place a to go order with absolutely no answer until I pressed 3 to talk to the first available associate by the name of Betty who was very rude and just transferred me back to the line that wasn’t answering. Twice. I tried to explain to her that I had called several times, but she didn’t seem to care. I called a few more times and just gave up. I’m not sure why there was no one to answer in that long of a time, but it’s very unprofessional. Betty….is very unprofessional.
Service was merely "okay".The eggs, asked for scrambled, came out looking like the eggs on a toaster sandwich, or a flat & boring omelet; rather than fluffy mound of egg clouds. No powdered sugar on the French toast. The syrup is no Ms.Butterworth or Aunt Jemima, very watery. (Thanks Cancel Culture) The bacon, you'll need to ask for crispy, otherwise... well, I haven't seen something that pale and limpy since.?.. I'm sure you get the picture.The gift shop did have Jelly Bellys, by the flavor. 2 buttered popcorn, please ? And did have "Rumours" Fleetwood Mac on vinyl... so that was a must have for the daughter!Nice atmosphere.You can tell they are over worked and understaffed. Please be sure to tip!!
Had a great dinner with family tonight. Our server, Blake, was outstanding. He had been working since 7 am, and was running around taking care of many tables simultaneously during a very busy period, but he was still attentive and gracious the entire time, providing excellent service with a smile. He was still going strong when we left at 7 pm. I hope management appreciates and rewards him for being an amazing ambassador for the company by providing top-notch service that makes people want to come back.
I work for cracker barrel Florence,and I have to say it's one fun , rewarding, job I've met some awesome people I work with amazing people... the shopping up front absolutely so much fun... food everything's good there... and you cannot leave out the cozy fire.....I HIGHLY RECOMMEND
I ordered sunny side up eggs and they weren't done you can see where i put my fork under part of the white and it was still clear and slimy and all of our food was cold when we got it. We will not be eating at the Florence one again!
We came as a group of eight. For it to be a Saturday morning at 8am we got very good service, good food at a really good priceWe always like Cracker Barrel.
Well, it was very good. Our server was polite, friendly and helpful. She took our drink orders and left us until we were ready for our food order. Not pushy but ready with answers to all my questions. I had blueberry pancakes with blueberry syrup and it was just perfect. Hubs had a breakfast platter of some combination and it looked very tasty too!! We ate it all!!!!!❤️? Ready for our next visit. Cracker Barrel's are our go to when we travel. It's nice to know you can get what you want. Breakfast, lunch and dinner. Coffee is great too. I always get a cup to go!!
