BBBQ was the best! Ordered pulled pork with hot slaw and potato salad. Their blackberry cobbler was out of this world good. Will visit this eater whenever I am in Florence Alabama well before the W.C. Handy festival 2023 👍🏾👍🏾
Good small ran business. Bbq was different than expected, but prices were fair. Would prefer TN bbq though. Probably would not visit again as I do not like the mustard based bbq.

I had to give Bunyan's 5 stars for their rib snack! How could I not? Three juicy, meaty, tender and delicious ribs served with two types of sauce, some of the most original slaw I've ever tasted and a roll. I just can't imagine a better lunch in Florence at any price. Next time I'm going to have to try a hot dog... while I was waiting for my order, the gentleman behind me ordered five!
Stopped in for lunch on the suggestion of a local and sure happy I did! The rib snack is really a perfect lunch. Three big, juicy, delicious ribs with two kinds of sauce, a side of the most original slaw I've ever tasted and a roll for about $8. Unlike any other and a true local legend!
If I could give it more stars I would. I no longer live in the Florence area, but every time I come back to visit it's always a top priority to get (at least) a hotdog and a pulled pork sandwich. Get it to-go, drive 2 minutes down to McFarland Park, and eat it by the water. Best barbeque in town!
First off, I would definitely eat here again. The food was quality and very enjoyable. The pulled pork was tender but lacked any smokey flavor. That's the one thing I prefer in a good bbq. The baked beans were sweet with just a little kick at the end. The mac n cheese was baked and simply amazing! It was probably the most original bite of the day. Although the mustard slaw comes close. I've never had it that way before but was impressed with how good it was. I am a mustard lover anyway. The ribs were huge and had a nice pull. With the sweet sauce on top they were the best savory bite of the meal. I was crazy excited to see blackberry cobbler on the menu. I like something sweet to finish a meal and that was just right. Definitely get the mac n cheese and slaw. Those won't disappoint and just pick from the rest. You'll enjoy it. The rush of customers during the lunch hour confirmed we'd made a good choice.
Meat was good but the beans less than average and the slaw was just not to my taste

Always good! Enjoyed their chicken sandwich/slaw/sauce. Usually grab golden flake sweet heat chips as a side. Local staple, a little run down but it adds to the character. Some seating outside!
