Dropped in a few nights about 30 minutes before closing. The staff and facilities were top notch and the price was very affordable. Unfortunately, the wings (family ordered three 10 count with sauce on the side) were a total disappointment.
Love this place. I come here everytime I am in town on business. The brisket was incredible....tender, tasty and very little fat to deal with. Excellent sauce (brown). It came with Hoppin' John as a side and some sort of apple crisp. All of it was top notch. Fast, friendly staff as well.
Prices were fair. The place was clean. The service was kind. But they ran out of ribs on a Sunday. Questionable on how that could happen. Whoever is ordering or prepping dropped the ball. Nonetheless the food I did eat was delicious and well prepared but a little on the dry side.
The toasted bread for the sandwich was good, but it lacked enough meat to cover the bun. The homemade chips could have been excellent, and the ones that were fully cooked were, but half of the chips were undercooked and stuck together.
I'm from the Northeast so not a BBQ expert. But I now live in DE so get my share of 'above the Mason Dixon' BBQ. I thought this place was really good. The smoked turkey plate was great with mustard slaw on the side.
Good food, but when I worked there they fired me while I was in the mental hospital after a suicide attempt. Not sure they knew though, as the hospital took my phone. However, I had been regularly contacting my boss as to how I could be a better employee and being left on read for several weeks and I was given no notice of termination of employment. The food is excellent tho, I would definitely recommend the brown sugar green beans.
Found 306 BBQ on TripAdvisor, which stated they were open until 10 pm. Went thru the door at 8:37 pm to be told that they in fact do close at 9 pm, but they were already closed at the counter, but that we could order “back there” wherever that was. I am possibly assuming incorrectly that 306 BBQ updates their TripAdvisor entry since it clearly gave a 10pm closing time. Regardless, we still arrived BEFORE the closing time on their door only to be basically turned away. Can’t give a review on the food since we didn’t get to try it, but the service - if you want to call it that - was useless. It should be against the law to turn customers away before closing time, especially at a fast food restaurant. I think the staff just didn’t want to work anymore. Y’all lost money tonight !! Hope it was worth it !!
The food was good. The mixed drink from the bar for $8.00 was the worst drink ever. But the service for our meal was great and would be the top reason I would return. Brennan was very helpful and patient when answering all of our many questions. He got a very confusing order for a party of 7 exactly right.
My fav place to grab some ribs and potato salad. Not pictured: their banana pudding which I also love. Call in orders are super easy. They usually have it ready in 15-20 mins.
The food was just ok. We got 3 kids meals, a rib plate and a fish plate. The ribs were not seasoned well. The fish was fried too long and wasn't seasoned. I hate leaving a bad review, but this meal wasn't fulfilling at all.
