My wife, kid and I went to captain D's today an ordered 36 shrimp, 3-piece fish plate and 6 orsters. We asked for extra tartar sauce because we got so much food and the manager told us that it was in the bag. We made sure we asked a few times for extra tartar sauce because we know how busy it gets there. We got home to find three tartar sauces in our bag. Common Sense tells you with all that food three tartar sauces does not cover it!! This is not the first time we've had a problem here but we like Captain D's. This is just the first time I've decided to leave a review. I just don't understand why people that work at fast food restaurants act like they buy the condiments out of their own pocket. Hopefully this gets resolved because I love Captain D's food. But I can honestly say it will be a while before I can bring myself to go back to this Captain D's after being lied to by a manager! I feel like when you spend your hard-earned money on something you should get what you pay for! I called up there and the manager didn't even apologize for the situation!
I went to Captain D's Saturday, and Wednesday night about 8pm for a three piece fish meal and they gave me chicken instead now this has happened twice to me in one week. Very disappointed in the service. Heard from a friend this past weekend and the same thing happened to him. What's going on with Captain D's. Unhappy patron. I won't be eating there for a long time.

Stars updated due to the timely response.*Original Review: Placed an order via the website like we have done several times before but when we arrived we were told there was no order in their system. I had a confirmation email and order number for an order totalling $49. We asked for a refund or to fill the order and were told it was our problem and to contact corporate. The manager on duty said, "I don't care," and refused to help.
Food is cooked to order, so it's great, hot, and tasty! You may have to wait a minute, but it's worth it!
Captain D's fast food seafood... meh.. but I have to say that this day it was firing on all cylinders. Food was hot fresh and fast. The establishment was spotless and smelled clean the kid behind the counter was perfect. I had absolutely 0 complaints.
we got chicken tenders from this one and they sucked they were warmed over and hard and tough and there mac and cheese tasted old would not recommend them
decent food. but is it worth the 20-25 min waiting in the drive thru.. i personally don’t eat here but i get it for my dad, for it’s one of his favorites so i stick through it lol
On my last visit, the food was OK but I didn't get what I ordered. What I got was good, but not what I wanted.
Really decent recipes, absolutely delicious, and the best part, every single time I go, the fish tastes like it was cooked in very fresh oil (the way it should be) 10/10 would recommend.
Rarely do I go here due to the vast majority of fried food, however the drive thru service is amazing. Super kind and helpful workers. I was pleasantly surprised!
