We got chicken strips or whatever they are called. Food and drinks OK, building OK, bathrooms OK. Couldn't find napkins, we asked- Don't have any. Would it kill you to buy some paper towels down the street?
Back in the USA after a year working in New Zealand, I planned a lunch at Popeyes. It is the best fried chicken in the world (the spicy), and the red beans and rice are unbelievably good. KFC is very popular in NZ , but I never went, because Popeye's spoiled me years ago for any other fried chicken.
Food was good but the staff was unfriendly. Was not greeted at counter. No hello , no thank you, only what side and the total owed. Shift manager was right there and she said nothing also was about 7:30 in the evening and not busy at all.
Beautiful place, clean, great food, staff was great, except one person. I believe she's a manager, she was wearing a blue shirt, she's pregnant and she was walking around just cussing out all the employees for nothing, just complaining non stop. The poor girl at the register was trying to take my order but couldn't because this lady wouldn't stop yelling at her for stuff she wasn't even doing!!
First of let me say the biscuits are okay need to brown them a little more they should not look almost white. Second the chicken sandwich ain’t no way in heck that was a chicken sandwich that I just bit into that was some super hard tenderloin!! Like y’all really need to do better because that wasn’t it im just super disgusted!!
Walking inside the store, and outside was clean. Young lady that took our order, was very polite and friendly. Food was GREAT. I even called back and let the manager know her team did a great. The food was really good. We’ll be going back.
Was disappointing considering I drove so far to go through the drive through to wait 30 mins for fried chicken meal. I got home and found the mash potatoes been just dumped into a cup with hardly No gravy and three lumps of potatoes. Chicken was stone and macaroni was tasteless. Will not be going back to that store because it dam sure was NOT worth the money I paid for it!!!!
Today I paid $45 for two meals, a regular side, 2 chilled lemonades, a chilled strawberry lemonade, and a frozen lemonade. So we get to the drive thru and start to order. The order starts off well as the first meal is already known. I ask for two chilled lemonades for myself. My boyfriend asks for a frozen strawberry lemonade. My child couldn’t decide what they wanted but did know what was wanted maybe 10 seconds after he ordered the frozen strawberry lemonade. Also within that 10 seconds they changed people. What was so important you had to change people mid order?!? She repeated the order and said “…2 chilled lemonades, 1 frozen lemonade…” I tried to correct him and so then they added another chilled strawberry lemonade. By the time we got to the window I now have 3 strawberry lemonades, and one chilled strawberry lemonade, my lemonades no longer existed, our meals and our side. When I did ask why it was $45 I felt that I had asked a question such as “Why is 2+2=fish?” By the time we left, I was livid. This isn’t the first time they have shown that they just do the job as minimum as possible. When I started coming I didn’t feel rushed and everything was correct, no miscommunications, no issues. The last two times have been HORRIBLE. I still don’t understand the whole changing of people mid order. It makes an already tense situation WORSE!!!
So, when did a 3 piece tender meal start to cost $10? Omg! All of the priced across the board are so much higher! Unless you want chicken only, expect to kill a $20 bill and that's if you're 1 person.Anyhoo, my tenders we're hard and the price literally made me lose my appetite. But, they get 3 stars because what I really wanted was the Hottie Sauce which was discontinued. I listened to the voice inside me when they asked what dipping sauce and just asked if they happened to have any Hottie Sauce left. (Sn.....its like the best sauce ever! Meg the Stallion might be in thr wrong business frfr).Verdice: they gave me a couple!! That heavenly sauce didn't save the hard tenders but it was nice of them to give me one last taste of glory.It's the last taste because I refuse to spend $10 on tenders and $12 on a 2 piece meal....smh
Door dashing, has two orders, wreck, running late on second order....Popeyes ...show up and employees are having a good ol time ( nothing wrong with that but BE PRODUCTIVE WHILE YOURE AT IT)Order was DUE TO BE DELIVERED 10 MILES away before I even left the store.They had fun, it's all good. Customer wasn't TOO upset
