Food was served quick and fresh. Good parking and Handicapped accessible. Parking lot is big and kept clean. Several access points and exits. Food is reasonably priced. They have a website and daily specials. The line moved quick, the employee that helped us was short, uninformative, and made us feel rushed. Other than that it was a good place to stop for a bite. They have chicken sandwiches, nuggets, strips, and lots of sides to choose from.
They literally have a sign on their drive through speaker that said they open at 10:00 AM. We pulled up to order at 10:13. Lady came over the speaker and said they didn’t open til 11:00. I replied back with “Your sign says 10.” And her response was “Our cook hasn’t made it to work yet.” Ridiculous.
The worst Popeyes in Dothan. Employees always have an attitude and they barely ever give you fresh food. How is my food at 4:30 not fresh at all but y'all want to go up on the price for horrible quality food. They need a new crew. I had to call corporate and all because this is ALWAYS an issue no matter what time you go!!
Never Again! I used the drive through since none of Popeyes here are open inside and asked the lady “best deal on a chicken meal dinner?” So I chose the 3 piece meal but really wanted the strips not the bone in chicken- so I get up to pay and it ends up $12 with the drink. I pull over take a few bites of the tiny leg and see that the thigh is not any bigger and the not so large breast so I am ticked off and get directed to walk over to the drive through window and I tell the lady, “No way this here is worth paying $12 for!” - and her best reply is, “it’s not our fault!” as to the increase in food pricing, yet they are sure saving money not opening inside or at least not so costly. What’s truly bad is they offered me nothing at all. And it’s really about the money! I had just come from a nearby THAI restaurant where I could had a much better and larger meal for the same price. But anyway, I will not be returning to a Popeyes restaurant ever again - they have definitely gone down hill and using poor excuses for it.
Purchased a two piece combo, in drive thru, took it home and had dinner. Awesome ?
Friendly service. Great food. Clean lobby. Thanks for staying open and providing for lunch, dinner and late night snacks for those of us that don't enjoy cooking. 5 star status
Food was horrible, wasn’t fresh at all ! Reached out to the general manager for him to remake it , he said he dropped it fresh but it wasn’t fresh , money wasted and he tells me he cant replace it again ! First off it should’ve been fresh the first time !!! Do better!!
Food was really good. But they do need more help it took to long to get my food & I was against time because I was on my lunch break. I only have 30mins & it took 20mins for my food. Other than them being short staffed there's nothing wrong. Food is very yummy. I definitely go back. They work very hard & do the best they can & I'm good with that. The chicken nuggets are jumping with the sweet heat sauce ??????
These people close their lobby most days. When I questioned them, they pointed to the # on the door. I called "Popeyes corporate" (the man could barely speak English). He tells me the store manager has to be the 1 I'd talk to. I got hung up when I told him there had to be someone there besides him I could speak with. Crazy thing is, I work directly behind them. I will go out of my way to deter ANY & EVERYone from giving them your business. You want to provide poor customer service? I can do the same-even better!
