Went last night at about 6PM. It was OK. I've been many times and it was really good but last night was just decent. The fried mushrooms appetizer is probably my favorite thing on the whole menu. My wife had the seafood platter and said it tasted like it was all cook together on the plate. I had the cheeseburger which was pretty good. Lately they only have the prime rib on Fridays and Saturday.

So first time there and the name is accurate, Old. When you walk in it is very unwelcoming, bathrooms to the left and a giant wall to the right. After we are seated and our waitress greets us and takes our drink order I noticed that there were more lights out than on and the ones that were on were all different colors of white and yellow. The baked onion soup was a salt bomb. My steak was the perfect temp but lacked seasoning. The only highlight was our waitress who was very knowledgeable and super friendly.

I will NEVER go back to this place. The service was horrible. I knew from the jump the waitress Annie didn’t want to serve our large party, which I feel she should’ve been offered help. Still no excuse. My broccoli wasn’t good so I asked for a side salad instead and she told me “no” excuse me? If I’m paying my money I shall have whatever I please. Even down to the management when we told her our issues, seemed to careless. I would not recommend! And this place seems to carry a good reputation around Dothan, I’m not convinced at all.

Fast service. Was eating with a group. Friendly. Ample parking. The grilled salmon was dry but good. Grilled veggies were good. Rolls were ok. Sweet potato could have been larger. Overall everything was satisfactory but nothing to write home about. Portions were small.

Very friendly staff and attentive. The problem I had was the food. It was very bland starting with the “rolls” they had the taste of cornbread with the texture of a roll not good at all unfortunately. The entrees were just as bland and no flavor and the prices are more than the should be for the quality of food you get. The place is clean and nice and the staff is great but the food and price leaves a lot to be desired.

It’s a great country style restaurant with steaks and seafood. The people dress up like going to church or fancy casual. I think they open late afternoon because I’ve never been for lunch. My mom loves it and I take her a lot when I’m in town. It’s on the expensive side for the atmosphere but...the food is really good and they don’t mind taking it back to make it perfect. Mostly elderly people with their families. Could use a remodel. But if it’s not broke... I’ve ordered the seafood plater and steaks. Always been satisfied. I know my mom will always want to eat at Old Mill if it’s around 5-6 in afternoon. It’s not on the main road and they are busy and been in business for decades. So that tells you something. They have a lot of big booths with plenty of room for four people. There’s a little bar on the right side going to dinning room. I’ve been there on closed days so call ahead. But yea, for the local experience do try Old Mill.

In real life, one of the best steaks I've ever had. The crab claws were huge and delicious too. Had a great server and her name was Apryl too!

Excellent food with a super dedicated staff. We never ran out of iced tea.

You can’t wait inside any more because “it gets crowded inside” yet they take no other COVID precautions. So why act like this is some safety measure? Ridiculous. Make an effort to actually encourage safe dining.

Went here tonight for my Birthday dinner with my daughter! She wanted steak and I wanted seafood… we both got what we wanted and it was delicious!!Shout out to Apryl, (our server)!!! She was prompt, polite, fun and all around a great server!!The restaurant was quiet but had quite a few people there, so that was nice to be able to enjoy my daughters conversation without hearing everyone else!!P.S. I highly recommend the crab claws!!!!
