Ordinarily we go to another local BBQ restaurant but thought we'd give Dickey's a try. Here is a brief overview of our experience.We were greeted warmly by the staff who were especially friendly! We ordered the Brisket plate with two sides, coleslaw and fried okra were my choices. Our meals were prepared and delivered to our table quickly except for the okra which was being cooked to order. As a bonus, I received a double order of okra for having to wait. The brisket was tasty and was served in chunks versus sliced like a local competitor. I personally like sliced better but the meat was still tender and flavorful. Btw, the price point for the plate was $13.50 which I felt was worth it.Also, it seems the staff really like where they work as one of the ladies working there entertained us by singing along while tidying up the dining area. Awesome people there!I would recommend Dickey's for a quick bite. Also, aa great benefit for families is that kids eat for free on Sunday!Note: The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because I wished their dessert menu was bit more expanded.
This location is horribly managed. They are always out of food items, and on some days, they don't even have their fryer on. They will also leave out items from your order if you do not check it before leaving the store. It would be nice to work at a place like this where I could select which aspects of my job I'd like to actually do on a daily basis! How can you run a restaurant if you run out of food or if your employees refuse to cook? On our visit today, they had the fryer turned off, were out of menu items, and they left items off our order which resulted in a return trip to the store. Judging from other reviews, I'm not the only one to experience significant problems with this location, and today was the last chance we are giving Dickey's for a long time.
On 3 different occasions I have gotten terrible service from the people who work at this place. The latest I placed an online order for curbside pick up that said it would be done by 11:30. I Waited over 1 hour while I watched several people enter and leave with there orders. And had to call and was told my order was being made. After waiting 15 more minutes I decided to go in and my order was complete just sitting there. Horrible staff.
I'm not sure why we continue to give this location more chances. Missing items from orders....again. And as usual, called to speak with a member of management and my call got passed around several times. All employers were rude and then stated that all managers leave at 3 pm everyday. Thistles the 3rd occasion this has happened and the management/owners do nothing to correct the problem.
We catered our son's wedding rehearsal dinner here and could not be happier! The manager and delivery staff were so friendly and helpful and the food was absolutely delicious! We ordered ribs, pulled pork and chicken wings along with 4 sides. Everyone raved about how good the food was. It made my son's rehearsal dinner a big hit and we are so happy we went through Dickey's BBQ. Thanks to the whole staff!
This is the absolute best BBQ I've had in years! The flavor is smoky sweet with just a hint of heat. Absolute perfection like no other. Ordered online and service was exemplary and stellar. Be sure to sign up for the daily deals that are as equally awesome as the food.
This specific store was a huge disappointment!! We went in there Saturday afternoon and surprisingly it was not busy so we were excited about that because we were hungry but only to soon be disappointed. I ordered the pork combination platter and my husband ordered a sandwich and our two girls ordered chicken breast meals. The lady at the register informed me that they did not have any burnt ends but that I can instead add an extra of whatever pork I had for options so I chose extra ribs. No big deal, we sit and wait for our food to come out which really didn’t take long at all but when it arrives EVERY SINGLE MEAT on EACH of our plates was cold!! Not even room temperature!! The only thing hot was our fries and my side of potato casserole which was probably microwaved! I did not have any ribs at all which I was supposed to have gotten some ribs as well as extra to replace the missing burnt ends but instead I had some other cut up meat and I asked the lady what that was and where were the ribs and she said she would ask but that the staff was not answering her questions but told her it was beef or something.she tried to take the plate and I asked her to just bring me the ribs because I had already touched everything because I had realized it was cold. I asked if this store always serves cold meat and she said no and that she doesn’t know why it’s cold , I just said okay and she walked away. Thank goodness for the ribs because those came out hot and I’m thankful my kids didn’t mind their chicken being cold however, that doesn’t make this acceptable. What a waste of $45. This was our first time at this location and we will not be going back.
Food was just ok. Felt more like fast food than a true BBQ place to me. Their iced tea made up for their food. Good sized portions.
Great customer service and environment friendly...The food was fresh and hot. Definitely a great place for family outing or a quick stop.
Not only was the food amazing but the customer service and hospitality was amazing I will be coming back
