We love stopping at this Denny's on our way home from our Florida trip each year. Friendly staff, lots of food choices, kids love it!
Wanted to order the endless breakfast to go and wasn't allowed to.. wanted only to get one serving to go at that price and no refill. Would have gotten at least one more plate had I dined in as I would assume most all customers would have done which would have been twice the food and cost the restaurant more. SMH! Pretty obvious this needs addressing.
I don't have anything poor to say about the establishment itself as it was clean and in order for a 24 hour diner. The food was also good. Sadly, it's regarding the lack of service or maybe I should say severs. There was only one server working that night and obviously a cook. They managed to keep things moving that night and did the best they could but what should've taken an hour took two. There were no refills and getting sauces or anything additional was too much. Maybe it was an unfortunate callout or the post COVID world where no-one wants to work. Just be patient and kind if you go and this hasn't been remedied.
This place is not that busy when I was there with family. There was only 3 adults and a child and the place is over half empty on a Saturday afternoon. Took 30 minutes to get us seated waited another 10 minutes just to order drinks and we went ahead and ordered out food. We then proceeded to sit there waiting on food for over 45 minutes with the place less than half capacity still. Not once did they come to check and see if we needed refills or anything else during this time. When we hot our food half of it was blland and tasteless. I will say our server was good but she was spread really thin for the amount of people the others servers were helping
Breakfast was great. Few minor details left out of my husband's omelet but the waitress fixed that and was very apologetic. Overall the waitress was great and the food was fresh. Strawberry Pancake Puppies were a delight ?
They were not busy at all. Waited awhile to have to seat ourselves. Sat down and had to get our own menus. 20 minutes went by and not even a hello be right with you. After waiting 30 minutes without even a getting a drink we left. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE SERVICE!!!!!
I'm really torn on this review. The server did the best he could but others put him in a bad position. As soon as he arrived, he was given 3 tables. The server didn't really seat me. After seating group #1, she dropped a menu on a table & pointed me to it. The silverware pack didn't have a knife, the slightly above room temperature pancakes didn't have butter. By the time I got both, the butter wouldn't melt on the pancakes.The server is the reason the rating got pulled up to 3 stars. It could have easily been a 1.

Wow. Okay, it took forever to get our food, but hear me out. It was getting close to midnight. There's a good number of people ahead of us. There are only TWO people working; the chef and the waitress. The waitress talked to us often, letting us know we weren't forgotten and made sure we had everything we needed. The food was fantastic! They made sure our food was hot and fresh! Afterwards we even got a visit from the chef. He apologized but I couldn't complain. It's was some of the best service I've had even compared to full staffed places. Simply exemplary!
