Need to improve hotdogs don't taste like they use to
If U can get by the thought of a red hot dog topped with ground beef, sold at a fish market, U may enjoy a Barrentine Hot Dog. My hubby & daughter will drive miles out of the way on our trips thru Dothan just to eat 2 or 3 of them. What I enjoy are the laughs the rest of the Family gets watching them savor each & every bite & talking about it on every visit. As for the fish, I hear it's fabulous too.

This was my first time going there. I did not know it was that kind of place. I should have researched before entering
Went for hot dogs, customer slamming three down on counter and leaving should have been my clue to leave, I ordered anyways took seven home, which is right around the corner, the weiners were not cooked and hard like when you eat a cold one out of the pack as a kid, think she didn't drain water off them when put on my buns they were completely soggy and falling apart, the chili was unsalted and dry individual little balls of meat,, after a bite of a few just threw it all in the trash. I will NEVER go to this place again, 0 stars,,,,, on side note fresh seafood doesn't smell fishy, this place smells like ten week old dead oysters and fish when you walk in, I would NOT risk eating fish here!!!
Normally this place is great but today it sucked they had no slaw the homemade tarter sauce was so gross they didn't give us any napkins and employees was hollering and cussing right in front of us at our table I am very disappointed

While waiting for fish to be cleaned, I ordered the onion rings.... greasy and not tasty at all. Batter needs seriously revamping.
