Just left Applebee’s the guy that was seating people told me it would be 25 minutes before we would be seated . The place was dead . 3 other people come in behind us that apparently worked at Piggly Wiggle he told them the same thing with in minutes of them arriving they knew the person working the bar the guy seats them ahead of me and my son at a table in the bar. To me that was poor customer service I don’t care if you tell people it’s gonna be 25 minutes then seat someone ahead of the people that were there before them. I realize times are hard and a lot of places are short on workers . But it still doesn’t excuse the poor customer service.
First went in and was ignored never was given a table or anything. We left and I complained in email. The manager of the store called me himself, made excuses but said he was going to send a gidmfrcard and to please come back and let them try again. Waited for gift card. Ended up emailing back to ask for itm when we finally chose to go back. We ordered drinks that we seen sit at the bar for a good 15 minutes. Our steaks were not cooked correctly at all. To the point that my well done steak had bled into all my other food. We were never even asked if we wanted anything else to drink. We never got our condiments that we asked for when our food was brought out. All in all the absolute worse experience I've ever had eating anywhere!.
Service was horrible, medium steak was well done. Waited 55 minutes, no bread sticks for wife's pasta. NOT PLEASE AT ALL AND WHEN I SHOWED THE STEAK TO THE WAITER ALL HE SAID WAS SORRY!
They've been struggling to find help since the pandemic hit, but what little crew they do have, I Love and cherish. ❤️ This has been mine and my husband's go to date night restaurant for a while and we love it there. ❤️ The food is always excellent and the staff is always so friendly. 10/10 for the effort, the food, the friendliness and the cleanliness.
Wish that a negative rating could be given. This location used to be amazing.We ate at this location tonight. Lisa, our server was horrible. Food was average at best. Ordered drinks at the beginning of the meal that were not delivered until the end of the meal. Asked to speak with the MOD Leigh. She was rude and would not even listen to what had happened. Just talked right over us as we tried to inform her of what happened.The first receipt that the server gave us showed one price, then aftershe ran our credit card, it was a totally different price. The MOD, said there was nothing she could do because the card was already ran. I do NOT, recommend this location at all.
We ordered Curbside that was to ready at 8:48. So my husband gets there early and they never brought food out. He sat there til 9:02 and went in to get food. They said they didn’t see him but my husband could see our vehicle on the camera. And then order wasn’t totally right. So I called to speak with manager and he said they were really busy. Just made excuses. And the food was terrible. I’ve been going here for years but I won’t be back!!!
I order online and have it delivered often. Their blonde brownie is to die for! Hands-down the most delicious dessert locally. It comes warm with sugarcoated pecans, melted icing pour on, and then topped with a scoop of vanilla bean ice cream. I literally could eat it every single day. Our favorite meal is their honey chicken tender macaroni and cheese!!? It’s supposed to be spicy but it’s not. My order is always right and ready within minutes. Never had a problem. I think this is the place that finally help me put on the 10 pounds I’ve gain ?
Not up to Applebee's standard. Service was slow. Not the typical happy hour we expect from Applebee's. Ordered Miller Lite got Bud Light. Second time tried for Lite but tap wasn't working. They should have put a cup over the tap handle. Not going back to this location.
Food was EXCELLENT...Quesidilla Burger w/garlic potatoes....Our waitress J. Mays was very attentive and polite..From Sylacauga,AL. Also very clear menu..you're sure to enjoy a great meal....
Don't get me wrong, the food still tastes good and our waiter was so nice, but the quality has definitely gone down. All of the dishes are smaller portions. My chicken pasta dish only had 4 very small pieces of chicken on it. The spinach and artichoke dip was obviously watered down (I'm guessing to make it "stretch") a lot of the chips had not been cooked or stored properly so they were stale. 1 small sized shrimp costs $1 which is ridiculous to say the least. I understand because of the pandemic restaurants have had to change things but at this point I'm sure some of this could be resolved by now. It will be a VERY long time before we visit applebees again, if we ever decide to go back.
