Well the only thing I can really say about this place was the cook did a great job, food was good. That’s the only reason I’m giving two stars. I had to ask for silverware after my food came to me. The water had a bad taste to it. The one waitress in the building spent my visit complaining about how day shift leaves all the work for 2 shift and blah blah. I was never checked on, never got a refill. Whoever the manager of this building is needs to be retrained or replaced because this Waffle House isn’t worth the trip, or the price!
Nice place. Friendly. Was only 2 people eating at the bar when we first arrived. While eating they began to get mire customers.
My wife, Aprille and I were in the mood for breakfast. It was 4:30 on a Friday afternoon. The Waffle House on Hwy 31 South in Decatur was the perfect spot for our after work cravings.Our host, waitress, and chef was delightful!!!Especially considering she did everything by herself, and did it very well..Both of our meals were delicious and filling.It has always amazed me that Waffle House can hire the most talented individuals to work for them.We are looking forward to having breakfast after work again soon.

Waffle House is my all time favorite for breakfast food. I always get the All star breakfast with bacon, scrambled eggs and hash browns. It also comes with a waffle and buttered toast. My mouth is watering now just thinking about it. No matter what time of day you can order their breakfast food. Their employees are always super friendly. I would definitely recommend Waffle House if you are craving breakfast food!
The people were great, but food wasn't, it had a taste like it was old, I thought it might be me, so I didn't say anything, later on, I asked My wife why she didn't finish her's , and to my surprise she said the same thing, and I have eaten there so many times, just not up to par, I have spent 30. And gotta lot better quality, I expected more.
Did not get my order correct. I believe the waitress was new which I am very patient so I let things go. Unsweetened tea was sour, which we did get replaced but only after being told it was just made. Hmmm no it tasted like it had been there most of the day. Also when we walked in and started walking to a table we were informed that part of the building was closed. It's a waffle house it's opened 24 hours, why is half the building closed off!
When I visited this location you could tell they were understaffed either people called out or just getting show. However the staff that was on hand did their utmost to provide the fastest and best service that they could. Our waitress was one of the friendliest I think I have ever seen at Waffle House. And the cooking staff absolutely perfect order cooked seasoned prepared excellent
