We ate here tonight and it was AWESOME! The service and food was very impressive. I had the filet and scallops

We sat at the bar and thr bartender, Mari, was amazing! So friendly and attentive, but not intrusive. From our vantage point we were able to watch the kitchen and it ran like a well oiled machine. We spoke to the general manager and the owner and were very impressed. We were told that they were closed for five months due to Covid. After talking to everyone we could understand how they were able to survive and to thrive.

Very impressed with this little hole in the wall. Four for dinner one night and 2 for lunch the next day. We dined from the bar both times. Waitress was friendly. Food had good flavor and was at the right temperature when served.

What a great experience! Cool decor! Great waitstaff awesome food! Try their home made pimento cheese and bacon jam!! Wow!! Chili was awesome and don’t forget the Brussels!!

The small charcuterie board for lunch at The Rail Yard. The chutney and pimiento cheese made in house was excellent. Great service as well.

So, my husband and I both ordered a steak, but different sides. I take a bit of mine and think did I order a pork chop. I ask my husband what did think about his steak, he said, “it taste like a pork” . I was like, what is wrong with this steak!!Let me not forget to mention how tough it was. Because I hated to waste it, I ordered two different types of sauce to dip it in.Now let’s talk about the sides. I ordered ginger carrots some were burnt and some raw.My salad and house honey mustard dressing was very good! So I decided to try the dessert and that taste of pork (which was suppose to be a steak) out of my mouth. It was not good either! We were very disappointed! I am not saying I would not ever go back, but it probably would not be my first choice. My husband and I both agreed that was the WORSE STEAK we have ever ate!!

We were staying in Decatur for a couple of days, visiting from Canada, and this restaurant came highly recommended. Upon entering, they were busy and we went up to the host. Unfortunately, he told us, it was reservations only, the bar was first come, first served and the wait was a possible one hour. Needless to say, if you want to try this restaurant, call ahead and make reservations.

Took two trips to get to eat here. Atmosphere fine service extremely slow but food very good!Had for a week too Birthday at RailYard. Glad I got to go. Not sure I’ll be in rush to be back for lunch. But till want to try out the dinner menu!As for dessert I was all ready for Kentucky DerbyBurbon pecan pie, till the server described the poor pecan pie as having being laden with Coconut! Now I want to ask y’all did your Granny ever put coconut in her pecan pie? Mine sure did not. She made coconut pie OR pecan pie. KEEP YOUR POOR PIE. I’ll go home and put bourbon on my ice ream and put chopped pecans in it. And to hell with your coconut. I’ll come back for dinner later this

Great food, great drinks, great staff. Really enjoyed it as part of a work group going out for dinner. Everyone enjoyed their time and meal without issue. Cheesecake was definitely worth it, too!

My husband and I ate here for the first time after a friend had raved about how it was her favorite place to eat. It was fantasfic! From starter through dessert and every drink and dish in between was all excellently prepared and fresh and hot. Our server was wonderful and attentive to our needs and wants. She made excellent suggestions and made us feel very much at home and welcome. We most certainly will be back very soon as we would like to sample nearly ever item offered. 10/10: Would highly recommend.
