Love Moody Crab since they have came to Decatur. Every experience has been great. Not a disappointment.
I had the most wonderful experience here tonight !! I’ve been here three separate times and it hasn’t compared to this time !! KEVIN WAS AMAZING !! So informative and kind ! He made the best drinks , which is normally a risk for me because I hate the taste of alcohol but the two drinks he recommended AND made were the bomb !! The food was awsome. I had the fried combo catfish, shrimp and oysters. Everything had an excellent batter and large portions. The waitress was excellent. Some of the best seafood I've had in a long time and I eat allot of seafood. It's my favorite. I will definitely be back. Prices were good also. Young was our waitress and was excellent.

The seafood is great, nice portions & fun atmosphere. The service not so much. After waiting on the appetizers for 45 minutes they came out just seconds before the food and was cold. We did not eat them but the server could care less. She just dropped everything off and walked away until she brought the check. No offer of drink refills, a to go box or concern that the appetizers where still sitting untouched. No discount or apology for our wait at least. Spending well over $120 for 2 meals, you'd expect better service. That's all.
Service was terribly slow, waitress never came back to check on us after dropping off the food. Shrimp was good all other food ordered tasted like cheap frozen bar food. Considering my bill was $60, I thought the food would have been better. Very boring atmosphere in the restaurant. Would not go back.
Lots of mixed reviews for this place, leads me to believe they are very inconsistent. However our experience was ok. Server was friendly. We were seated immediately at lunch. The menu is rather small. Not a whole lot of options. The fried foods seem to be the better bang for your buck, but doesn't really taste fresh. Just frozen fish and fries. Greasy greasy greasy. Had terrible heart burn after eating here. Restaurant was clean though and the food was hot. Menu seems a little overpriced for what you get unless your doing fried foods. I don't believe I'll be back. Nothing to brag about here.
