It has been a while since I've been to a Taco Bell that has earned a review like the one like I could be leaving this one. We've visited this particular store for many years and likely spent a good bit of time in drive-thru as do most in this particular area. It's conveniently located by the local mall that once brought a lot of shoppers. It's on the busy Beltline and opposing sides of the road from McDonald's. It is across the street from one of the Decatur Morgan Hospital campuses and the only Taco Bell on that side of town. It survived Covid where some fast food joints barely (if even) did. It's a non-Mexican restaurant that has had its share of good, fast food. As of late, my past 2 visits have turned over less than mediocre results and 3 ended with my just leaving the line to just go home. One of those visits was just last week when I'd sit in the drive thru line, waiting for each vehicle to sit for 2 to 5 minutes each, just to be told the store was closed before closing time. I work in Healthcare as I have for the past 22 years so I'm no special butterfly. I've also worked my share of fast food, remodel jobs, and retail. I've also worked through times of covid. It doesn't give anyone special privileges but what it has done is show all businesses that most people understand understaffed and are willing to give far more grace when communication is involved. Another visit I encountered a disgruntled employee rolling her eyes when I asked her for napkins as she handed me my cup, dripping with what I hope was soda, down the door of my car and into my car. That will wash away but that kind of customer service will also push away loyal customers and bring more people to write reviews not much different than this one. Customer service still matters. It always will matter. Please, still be kind to the people who work there if you go. There's always room for improvement and you may not meet the same employees and I hope you never do.

Never have all the ingredients for taco and have the nerve to charge full price and then they don't let you know that untill you've waited in line and got to the window, that's something they should have said during the ordering process that's the one on 6th Ave,I'll never eat Taco bell again and I will never recommend it to someone I know

The last beefy 5 layer I got here tasted like how the bad dog section of a pound smells. It was so nasty it was surreal. Doors aren't open to go inside to try and return things like aforementioned dogpound burrito.

Staff went out of their way to accommodate me and my girlfriend, despite the dinner rush. Was extremely pleased with the service.

The food was good especially when you wake up in the middle of the night and decide you need taco salad. Thanks for staying open late .

Don’t come here in a hurry or super hungry and make sure you got plenty of gas for the drive through cause you gonna be here waiting in line til next Thursday. But when you do get your food there’s a 75% chance it’ll be pretty good.

Very rude staff. Took a Pic of the menu to send to a coworker and one of the workers came over looking at me like I committed a crime. Then another worker in the back started questioning why I was taking a picture when I explained I was just taking a picture of the menu she rolled her eyes and walked off. the staff here is super unprofessional.

Went by there tonight and was told they were out of Mexican Pizzas and would be until September or October... What a Joke. Not surprised though, that's the level of service we have all came to expect from Taco Bell. At least they're consistent.

Be sure to check and double your order before you leave the drive thru. I havent gotten a single correct order the last 3 or 4 times I have ordered. I get short staffed and busy and don't mind waiting for a correct order with all the items ordered, made correctly, and the right drinks. Slow down and do it right.

Says dine in online and on doors and you can’t even eat inside… what’s the reasoning to this?? You can dine in everywhere now, but can’t here? Out of something everytime you go, Taco Bell has gone down hill, and it’s upsetting it used to be my favorite place to eat. Will not be returning to ANY Taco Bell now.
