Today I thought, I'd really like a Burger. I called steakout, waited on hold for 30 minutes, order taker cane to the line, was extremely rude, the put me on hold for 10 more minutes. I literally got in my car and drove to steakout, walked in the door, still on hold. The order taker was not taking any orders, there was no phones ringing, nothing cooking... So I got righteously angry, that they were just ignoring me. I demanded to speak to the manager, asking why they had ignored me. She said because they were under staffed and busy.... they didn't look busy... The. The manager got smart with me, so I left... I just gave up and went to McDonalds.. Sad you can't even order 1 single burger... very sad.

When I worked there the older manager would steal employee tips. She tried to steal $35.00 from me personally.
my food is always perfect & the staff is very friendly! love this place. unfortunately i don’t have one close to home, but when i am in Decatur i make sure i grab a burger from here.
I was in an out we ordered ahead an it was ready when I we arrived to pick it up only thing I wish they would change is you can get a little can soda but not one of those plastic steak out cups they use for tea

I was hesitant to try this steak out after becoming accustomed to the Huntsville Steak Out which is independently operated and was always the best food. I have ordered from this Decatur location 3 times over the last 4 months and I have been pleased with the food and delivery each time. I always get the grilled chicken sandwich with onion pack. The chicken has been tender and delish each time. One time they gave me a sorry excuse of a tomato slice but chicken trumps tomato for sure! And 2/3 times for good veggies is acceptable in my book. Glad I finally gave them a chance. Whenever I can't leave the office, I will order from here.
Always hot, delicious food made to order. Fresh salad. Definitely will be back.Many places imitate steak tips and yeast roll, they are the original ones I think of when I hear steak tips. Yummy
