One of the sorriest experiences we had in Decatur. Fries came out when we were done with our steaks, bread came out last, drinks were empty for 30 minutes, Martini was half full and flat, every single request took a half hour, and requested pepper 3 times before getting it. Server didn’t care or have a clue. Extremely disappointing for a $125 bill.

So… maybe the upstairs is fine dining, but this place does not scream fine dining to me. The hostess was just lounging all over the hostess stand because she was bored. Blue jeans with an apron and company shirt has doesn’t really add to the whole “fine dining” experience. Maybe the price point is what made it “fine dining.” The food was subpar. My steak was so salty that you needed water to chase it down. The bar was slow moving and my martini was always half full when served. Not quite sure if alcohol was even poured into the martinis, but I definitely paid full price for all of them. All in all, it was just OK. There are definitely better options.

Wonderful meal, loved it and will be back next time we are in town.

lobster ravioli was great and so was the burger

Came here with my dad and were so excited to try out this beautiful restaurant in its historic site. From the moment we walked in something was off. All of the tables were sticky! The waiter informed us it was due to the cleaning solution they were using? For a restaurant described as upscale, that threw me a little off.Started with the crawfish egg rolls as an appetizer were hard pressed to find crawfish in the egg rolls. We asked the waiter about it and he told us that he believed that the cabbage inside the egg roll had dyed the crawfish purple so we just weren’t seeing them. He took it back to the back and then came back to tell us that he had searched through on his own and found the “purple crawfish”. It was awkward and felt unprofessional. Our meals came out about an hour later. Not exaggerating. It took over an hour and a half for our meal to arrive and when it did the meat was so over cooked and the food was so overwhelmingly salty we ended up not eating the rest of the meal.Very disappointed, won’t be back.

You gotta try the Blueberry Lemon Drop! Thanks to the local store owner, Joey, for the recommendation, we were glad to find such a food place this Valentines day! Looking forward to visiting rhe other restaurant owned by these people!

Best restaurant in Decatur, not even close. Food is always fresh, staff is professional, atmosphere is enjoyable, and the price is reasonable.

A bit on the pricey side, but the food is really good. Great atmosphere and ambience. Service is really good too. Great for a special occasion!

I had the grilled shrimp with andouille grits and Tasso gravy. It was great. My husband had the grilled redfish with seasonal vegetables. He said his was good, but the food was only lukewarm. Both meals came with a generous sized salads. The service was fast and friendly.

The food and service was as it should be. The quality of food was worth the price as I would of spent the same at a chain restaurant with lower standards. My beef tenderloin tacos were not small, as I was expecting,? but large with tender meat cooked to perfection. The sweet potato fries were a real treat. My friend's burger was perfect as well.? The waitress asked if I had any questions which is always appreciated when you have food allegeries and trying a new place. My friend just opened her business downtown after moving to Decatur so I'm looking forward to this place being open late and close by. I will say you probably will not get up stairs unless your in a bigger group as they have more seating downstairs for just two ppl, and it is probably set up that way for a reason. I would not want a large possibly loud crowd even close to my table while trying to have a conversation with the company of my choice anyways. Overall the food is worth trying at least once with a great old timey atmosphere that reminded me of the classic TV show Cheers?
