Everyone who works at Moe's is always great. You can tell Ryan the owner takes pride in having a hospitality and kitchen staff built on providing a great customer experience. The entire kitchen staff has great taste in food, but I must admit, Jennifer makes an excellent stewed orca and tomato. It is one of the limited time offer side dishes that I LOVE! And it is the first thing I eat all of immediately when available, no matter what else is on the platter. That's the fun of the rotating menu, Moe's keep the sides options fresh! (btw: The cucumber salad is good too! Pair it with the stewed ocra and tomato if you are lucky enough to have both options that day!) They may have the best turkey I have had and definitely the best wings I have had at a BBQ joint so far. The ribs are always good, and the chicken platter has a half or whole chicken, not shredded chicken. The catfish breading is fantastic! I am getting the pork in the next few days before I leave town and bet it will be great! I have been to this place 5 times now in the last 2 weeks, and have yet to be even a little disappointed. It is right off the highway too for anyone traveling across country looking for a great local spot to eat. Just understand, with being a wonderful place to eat, there may be a line, or they might be out of some items, since they make them fresh daily. But I bet you can't come away dissatisfied!
The BBQs are to die for!!! It is the bomb. The consistency of the chicken meat is not the same as store bought. It is different. Very flavorful. I cannot emphasize enough how excellent the food is!!! Its a 5⭐️ and a definite must go to for a picky eater like me. Yummy food!!!!
I got 1/2 slab of ribs. They were some really good ribs. Great color. Great smoke flavor and very tender and not dry. I highly recommend. I've heard the banana pudding is really good.
BBQ is always good. I usually order from the special sides menu when I go there. Different choices besides the usual baked beans, potato salad, Cole slaw. Try the Mississippi mud cake if they have on menu. Plus, their cornbread that comes with the platters is the best around.
The ribs and banana puddin were amazing! I even got the 1lb pulled pork but haven't tried that yet because everything else filled me up. I would highly recommend trying!
By far one of the Best BBQ spots I've been to, tried it with my Brother "Mr B Sweet Hurricane Heat" wow what a Difference it made, check them both out, you won't be disappointed.
It was very tasty and hott(temperature). I got the ribs and some chicken. It is very small amount of shredded chicken for a extra item. Also the portions are very small for sides. Ribs were good. But the baked beans were fantastic. Also the homemade cornbread. Potato salad was even out for a mix. Over all it was good. Vinegar based bbq sauce was ok. I was hopeful for homemade bbq sauce but no go. Nothing spicy either. The Sweet tea was fresh good.Also no brisket, only on Tuesdays. Such a disappointment for a weekend visit. Also next too a truck stop is such a great place for bbq. Also truck drivers get a discount for the whole meal. Which is great. They have some other items but I feel that the portions compare too the prices is not a decent deal. Food is good but not much more. People were nice and friendly. Bathrooms were decent.
Awesome bbq great selection of sides that change daily, friendly staff all at a reasonable price. I’ll continue to stop on my way through to Florida.
The meat was good. Need more variety in sauces. The sides were ok. I like potato salad. The mac n cheese was dry.
