Just picked up my Togo order and I am so pleased. It has been a really long time since I have eaten here and my last experience was not the best at all. I ordered the Maui steak skewers and added grilled shrimp. My food was hot and very tasty. I was very surprised to see my order ready at the exact time given to me and it was waiting at the pickup counter! Great job. I'll definitely start back patronizing this business. Thank you!
DO NOT ORDER “TO GO” FROM THIS PLACE. THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE IS POOR!! MY COWORKERS AND I PLACED A TO GO ORDER, WHEN I ARRIVED A LADY GREETED ME BUT DIDN’T TAKE TIME TO ASK IF I NEEDED HELP. MULTIPLE WORKERS WALKED PASS AND NOT EVEN THE PEOPLE WORKING IN THE KITCHEN AREA TOOK TIME TO ACKNOWLEDGE THAT I HAD BEEN STANDING THERE FOR MORE THAN 5 MINUTES. I had to yell at the guy making salads to get help, found out he couldn’t hear because he had earbuds in his ears. Finally a lady comes to help……….I placed my order at 7:27pm and received a text stating it was ready at 8:02…..she comes to the counter and states, We don’t have anymore sweet potatoes?, what’s the purpose of texting me, order complete, if no one took time to call to and say……”Would you like a substitute?” Now I have to wait on something different to be prepared. Check your food before you leave, this is what my food looked like. Wonder who thought they would try it before I did?. So sad.
We went today for a late lunch and had great customer service. We had the fried mushrooms as an appetizer and they were very good. You can never go wrong with a Logans rib eye and their yummy rolls! Our waitress was very friendly as well. We normally don't go to the Decatur Logans often but will happily make the drive over for the great service.
I ordered a 12 Oz. Sirloin for take out. The sweet potato was burnt and the steak I can't cut into it or chew it, so a 12 Oz. Steak went to waste. ....it was so tuff. Asked for extra butter and that wasn't put in the bag. Won't be eating here again. I am to tired to call and pick up another one..
The steaks were too tough and dry to chew. A 6 oz sirloin was all of 3 oz. I ordered mine medium and received well done. I grow potatoes twice that size in my garden at home on a bad day. Sloppy, slow, unhappy servers. Took the steak home to the dog. Called the manager and she wasn't any help, either. I'll never be back.* Not to mention 3 different tables around us sent their plates back. One because of a hair on the plate. And the GENERAL manager had no knowledge of this and didn't care when I called.
Ate here yesterday with the parents. No complaints. The rolls were hot and fresh out of the oven. The ribeyes were juicy and tender. Ordered the steaks at medium and they came out slightly past medium, but remained juicy and weren't tough. I think some people are exaggerating their reviews. I'll be back since the prices are fair for what ya get. The service was also great too.Tip for the cooking staff: Just be a little more mindful of the internal temps of the steaks to ensure cooking them to customer's specifications (medium rare, medium, etc) and add a touch more salt on them steaks. Other than that, y'all are good ?. Like I said, I'll be back.
Service was really great. Food how ever not so great. I have had better from a Logan's roadhouse. Athens Al Logan's is really great all the way around. We were there for birthday celebration and know one could hardly eat what they had. Streaks were tuff and broccoli was not hot. Rolls, salad, chicken was good. Won't be going back to the Decatur Logan's again.
Probably our worst experience ever. Food was sent out undercooked. I asked for it to be redone. They bring the same food out - cooked very well done on one side and very rare on the other.If you don't know how to cook steak, don't work in a steak house.
The food was horrible my rolls were hard as rocks the hamburger bun on my burger was just as hard. My order was wrong I asked for kids chicken tenders and got grilled chicken instead. The to go server was very rude with a bad attitude. I give Logans alot of business but I will not be returning to the one here.
Her medium rare steak was rare, the medium well was well done (he couldn't eat half of it and broke a tooth trying), only my medium was just right and actually I had ordered a medium well. I was trying to treat this couple for Thanksgiving, she had worked that day, they wanted steak instead of traditional turkey and trimmings. Anyway the salads were ok and the rolls and the loaded baked potatoes were great.
