I had the Lucy Special. It was great! I love the white sauce served with the tortillas!
The food and service were mediocre and the waitress could care less. The $11 Don Julio margaritas were also terrible. When you spend $11 on a margarita, you don’t expect an ice packed glass of sour liquid with no hint of tequila.

Rarely do I take the time to leave a review, but given the fact that I was ignored for ten minutes while FOUR families were seated ahead of me despite me coming into the restaurant before any of those families entered has prompted me to leave a review of my experience.I would have given the waitress benefit of the doubt and assumed she just hadn’t notified my presence, had the materials necessary to sit other customers not been directly beside where I was standing (by the point of sale station/register also where the menus and napkins are housed.)The final (fourth) family that was seated ahead of my consumer needs being addressed pointed out and stated, in front of other customers and staff, the fact that even SHE noticed that I had been clearly waiting to be served or even acknowledged before she entered the eating establishment. The couple was STILL sat before me and then after which time the waitress opted to take my order. I understand being short staffed, I understand the stress of the pandemic on everyone in the service industry (I work in it myself) but the total lack of acknowledgment or interest in me as a customer was astounding.Given that I, too, work in a service based industry I’m on a timed lunch and ended up having no choice but to place my lunch order and pray that I’ll have enough time to eat a bite or two before having to return back to work.I had extremely high hopes for Las Vias and they were, sadly, destroyed and wasted along with a vast majority of my lunch hour.
1st time here, recently move to Decatur. Best Mexican food I've had in a while!!! Very pleased!
