The food was great and one of the best buffets in the area. The server was great cleared plates and refilled drinks often. The price was about 15$ per adult price has gone up. My only complaint was the floor tables and some of the plates were greasy.
My family loves to eat at Golden Corral! They always have a variety of foods for everyone to choose from. The staff are always welcoming and very attentive. Great place for a big gathering!Vegetarian options: My uncle is a vegetarian so he has alot of foods to choose from. He always gets full at Golden Corral.
Update 2022-07-05 1:30pmOur meal was absolutely awful this time, literally every item looked and tasted like it had been out for several hours. Soups were dried and caked in the containers. No fresh food came out while we were there, and many stations were a disaster. Dirty plates in the clean plate stack and desserts had wrapping over them that clearly did not belong. Shame, because our previous visit was so good, I'm not sure if we will be going back a third time with how bad this visit went.Previously,Our meal here was excellent, the food was absolutely delicious and it satisfied several cravings our group had been having. The dessert section was amazing, and the wait staff was attentive.We will absolutely make the trip back out here in the future, we drove more than 30m to dine here!
The food was terrible, I had stake that wasnon the grill maybe all say, it was over done and cold, The fish was very ? but never seen it again. I tried salad only available are the mixed lettuces, the eggs were none to be had. I tried Mac & cheese it was no test just like the Macs was soaked in warm water all day and just pour tasteless cheese over and served. Many of the containers are dried up with so called soup. I like one fruit there honey due. It was good , can be better.I am hoping this will help those who have never been there, you all are better off to spend your good money at the fast food places. I wastes $35.00 for terrible dinner. I will not go back again even they give me free dinner.
I would not care to visit this establishment again. We went there on a Thursday night. It was not very busy at all, and we quickly found out why. Despite not being busy, the service was slow and not too friendly. The entire restroom area smelled terrible, and wasn't very clean. Most of the food just looked bad. Almost every tray was filled with water. The food at the meat cutter station looked less than desirable. The only bright spots were the salad bar and dessert station. I'll be spending my $19 per person elsewhere, thank you.
Food was good as always However worker was very rude screaming at customers as they were eating she told one family “woo yall ate too much we have to clean all those dishes” When it is a buffet and that is the whole point. and yes I understand how bad it is to wash dishes but why work there. was screaming across Restaurant about taking a smoke break and talking about customers very loudly. Yelled Move to customer walking. Very rude and all customers were looking around like what is her problem. Did not get her name but was very rude brown hair in a bun looked very unhappy to be there I think she needs a different job
AWESOME!! This is my new favorite restaurant. The food is prepared well, there are lots of options (including nice tender ribs), the buffet was kept clean and well stocked. What really impressed me though is that even though this is a self serve buffet, a waitress stopped by our table no less than 5 times to see if our drinks needed refilling or if there was anything else we needed. We don't even get that kind of attentiveness in a fancier restaurant. And it was wayyyy less expensive than the fancier restaurants. ??
Golden Corral Buffet & Grill in Decatur, Al is Great????‼️‼️. My husband & I love to eat there. We use to eat at the one in Huntsville,Al but that one closed. Lucky for us we found a Golden Corral Buffet & Grill in Decatur, And some of the staff from the Huntsville, Al one are now working there. Staff like The Manager & Rusty one of the servers came to this one. So it was like old home week. Seeing them again. The manager is always there to help if you have a problem. Rusty the Server is a very good. He’s kind attentive and very patient with the customers. He also wears colorful hats that children love and so do I. It makes him unique. Also the food is really good. All the food you can eat because it is a Buffet & A Grill. If you leave Hungry there…. You have no excuse. That’s on you. Everything is very good there. My husband & I really enjoy all of the food choices. You can go there a lot and always find something different on the menu. Like I said Lots Of Choices. Depends what time you come and what you want. If you want steak like me you come after 4:00pm. They also have deals for Seniors which my husband & I are. So if you are a senior like me you can get a great deal and great food at the same time. We will definitely be back at the one in Decatur, Al on Wimberly Road.
