I think that Francescos has the best Italian food anywhere around. The amount of food that you receive for the price is very generous. I literally have to make myself stop eating even though I'm full! There is rarely much of a wait time. The owner is often waiting tables along with the other wait staff. She is always very nice.
great place with table cloths and nice help, especially the latest waitress they hired.
Being Italian makes every Italian restaurant just ok, and this one is one of them.The food is good but it's not authentic, it didn't taste like home.The garlic oil with bread was delicious. I would order it again. Everything else was fresh and good, still better than a lot of other restaurants.
We heard a lot about this place. Finally, we had an opportunity to stop by and try it, we loved the atmosphere, and the decor food was terrific compared to a chain Italian restaurant. The service was friendly portion was huge. I will be back.
I have tried all the Italian restaurants around town and honestly I would choose Francesco's everytime. Their food is full of flavor as well as filling. While I have never dined in as I feel the setting is more for a date or business setting then a family setting, they have always got my order correct and freshly cooked. The staff is friendly and welcoming. I would love to see pricing on their online menu so I can better judge how I can order the best selection for my special treated dinner night to my family. Highly recommend this restaurant. I even have my work hooked and when we get treated to lunch requesting to order from here
Amazing atmosphere: artwork is beautiful, music surprisingly selected, wait staff extremely attentive. No long wait, could be in and out quickly but why?! The atmosphere is too great to leave in a hurry. The food, of course, was the best part. I've never been to Italy, but I've had the full experience.
The place was understaffed but the food came out quickly. It wasn't the best Italian food I've had. Their dipping oil for the bread was good but overpriced. Our server could've been a little more attentive but like I stated they were understaffed. The staff was friendly. I will give them another try though.
Here I ate the best pizza I had in the USA! I ate many times also the Calamari; they are very good too! I've been there many times in the 7 months I've been here in Decatur and I can assure that the staff is very kind and professional!
Me and my two kids eat out once a week around town. First time here. I pass by daily to and from work. Never really thought about it. Not sure why? We have or favorites and I've got a picky 7yr old. My 13yr old wanted to try it.Food was okay the pizza could have been cooked a little longer. My youngest lives on pepperoni pizza and chicken nuggets. He had a couple bites and didn't want it. I tried it. Seemed chewy.Didn't see drink's in the menu? No bar?Lots of wine on display.Had a to go order before we left for a friend.Tab was about 86. That's about average without a drink for me.Waitress was good did her job as I would expect. She got a 20 good job.Place looks good nice decor. They could use a little better curb appeal.
Loved it. Food was very good. Will be back
