The portions were ok, the fried chicken's oil tasted old. The best part was the waitress Faith. She was nice and very good at her job! Unlike a lot of restaurants in Decatur, she seamed to want to be at work and that we weren't bothering her to eat at this establishment.The store staff seamed over attentive!
No complaints about the food, my complaint is ordering for a pick up order and pulling into the designated a slot and ATTEMPTING to call in on the number listed on the parking slot to let them know that I have arrived and NOBODY EVER ANSWERS on that number and only half the time on the store number so therefore I have to GO INSIDE to pick it up!!! Calling in the order to pull up and pick it up defeats the purpose of a CALL iN order if you still have to go in when you’re not dressed to do so. Maybe they are short staffed like everyone else and if so PLEASE take the number down and just instruct people to just come in instead of people driving up thinking they will get their order brought out to them or just don’t even have the curbside option at all!
Went in on a Wednesday afternoon for lunch. Pleasantly surprised they had a grilled chicken dish on the lunch menu. I needed something light. It was delicious. Our server was prompt and friendly. Restaurant was clean.
My husband and I always eat breakfast here every Sunday morning when we are in town. However I seen something that said that they are introducing squash casserole. I don't know if this is going to be a permanent thing or if it's just a trial. I must know how it tastes so we will be back one evening for dinner.
Was fairly crowded but didn't have to wait long for my food to be brought out. Food was great! I always love eating here!
Went here for dinner with family and when we got there, we were told there would be a 25 minute wait... When I counted there were 6 empty tables and it was 3 adult and a child. When asked if my grandma could have a seat until the table come open the young lady at the front hesitated and acted like it was a problem. As we sat there we saw 3 families get seated before us. We asked an they kept saying your table will be ready in a minute. We almost left and that's when we were seated. Yes the food was good but the service was very selective.
Awesome place to eat told a lot of people to try it loved the food there was a lot of people but they took good care of us. I will be back to eat there
Gave it five stars because overall the food is always exceptional.With the curbside at the Decatur location it is very confusing to keep moving the location of the signs. That was step one to me getting my food over 20 minutes after it was done. I did not receive a text, they said my parking space notification did not come through, and the purpose of a person's telephone number when ordering food sometimes is to pick it up and say it's ready.Outside of my last visit this is a place for great food.
Of course we go to restaurants to eat. But these days where service seems to not be a focus, I tend to be extra focused to give praise where it does not fall short. Renska the kind young lady who took care of me was fantastic. A smile was on her face, she was friendly, attentive and seemed like she loved her job and her customers. The food was fine but the service from Renska is what I enjoyed most about my visit!
Normally love this place but today my pecan pancake was served on a plate with dried egg on it, the pancake was almost cold, I had to ask for syrup for it and it wasn't the Cracker Barrel warm syrup that everyone took forward to. Was very disappointed. Hopefully it was just an off day.
