Pam runs this place!!! Actually lets you dine in, fast friendly service and great food! It is the ONLY wh in Daphne.
January 5, 2022 after visiting Bellingrath Gardens, my family stopped here to eat before going back to Pensacola. It was approximately 7:30 p.m. and we were the only 4 customers there. Our order was simple, one bacon cheeseburger, one cheeseburger with lettuce, onions and condiments, plus hash browns, one grilled cheese with hashbrowns, one scrambled egg with grits. The hashbrowns came out burnt and hard, the buns were black around the edges and the hamburger didn't have the lettuce, onions. Asked to have hashbrowns replaced and new bun for hamburger. The cook and server were not on the same page, and food was delivered in stages with the lettuce and onions coming after the burger. This was the worse experience ever at a Waffle House and made the meal cost hard to digest. Also, the ticket was so confusion, I'm not sure the right prices were charged.
Love this place. I always have great service here, the food is pretty good and the waiters and waitresses are absolutely amazing and kind. Special thanks to my server from tonight, Cain, because they were cool and really nice :)Edit: I've worked here now, just quit actually. The manager is very unprofessional, digs through the trash for unopened condiments, gets in your personal life, and the workers take a lot of short cuts so they dont have to clean things. My first week here there was a covid outbreak and they made the workers clean everything, the manager had been working with covid for a few days before getting tested. I have very few things against most of the workers, its mostly how the store is ran.
Whoever TORI is… she is the worst. She was cussing out the newest employee bc she didn’t get wording correct. Talked about fighting her in front of customers, spoke down to the cooks, spoke openly about wanting to argue about it all - when I was the ONLY person in here. UNREAL AND DISGUSTING ATTITUDE. Thankful to the new girl, Kinley, who made SURE everything was taken care of!!!!!
The server we had-Pamela- had a very unfriendly attitude. My 7 year old daughter even whispered to me “Mama, our waitress lady isn’t nice” and I absolutely agree. The food was at least good. And actually everyone else in the restaurant was pleasant. Not to mention when I asked to have our spot wiped off, she had an attitude
They burnt my waffle and had to be remade. They burnt my hash browns and had to be remade. The young waiter was to busy chatting to refill our drinks and an older gentleman behind the counter did it for us.
Service was great. Food was great also!
We were the only table in the restaurant. Got LITERALLY one side from our order and then the waitresses disappeared and the cook made food for himself. we eat waffle house at least twice a week and this was by far the worst experience from any location we’ve ever been to.
I went to waffle house this morning hoping for a scrumptious breakfast, but instead it was a traumatizing experience. I will never be able to look at a hash brown bowl the same again. Me and my friends first found hair in our food but brushed it off and that was that. AND then a very nice gentleman came up to us saying they had scraped the egg off with their bare hands. I truly expected more.
I went to have dinner here and when I walked in there was 1 server and 1 table. I requested to sit away from the AC unit and server responded with NO he closed that section off and the only table I could sit at was the One table with the AC unit. I asked if the AC could be turned up and he said no. Super aweful service. I will never return to this Waffle House. There wAs only one couple in the complete store and the server said if I sat at the other end it would cause him to have to walk further and work more. He was not opening the section. Are you kidding. So I have to sit at the only table under the AC because you don’t want to walk 5 more steps to serve!? I even told him I would pay more to sit away from the AC. He still refused! We left. Guess I saved him the work as he was wanting anyway
