If a zero star was possible, I would’ve given that instead of one star. The views are beautiful…the food and service, not so much. Waited over an hour for down right nasty cold food. The only thing that came out hot was the check.
Enjoyed a meal pre-pandemic, so I realize that isn’t much value as a review at this point. But I mainly wanted to come back to get some aerial views of the area to share. My main wish for the waterways in our area is that we weren’t so close to the rivers that drain into the bay and bring along the muddiness.
To start, I never post reviews, but I hope this helps someone choose a better alternative then what I experienced here at the Back Deck.Ive been excited to check out the new million dollar renovation restaurant for months now. Overall the place looks good, minus some appearance issues that I swept under the rug. To start, I ordered 2 different draft beers, and both we very flat. Still I didn’t let that ruin the evening, so I decided to order a Cesar Salad and the Cajun Voodoo Steak entree. The Cesar salad was ok, but had a ton of dressing, and the portion was small. I ordered my steak rare which came out closer to Medium, and the steak had no flavor and was tough as boot leather. If I had to guess, the chef picked up a dead possum on the side of HWY 98 and decided to deep fry the meat to then serve on a dish with rice. Our Service was horrible, granted; our waitress was the bartender which she had to continue to serve a fully packed bar, and customers like myself on the dining floor. She also never asked if we enjoyed our meal, which makes me believe she knew the food was bad. I would give this a 1 star but I’m only giving it 2 stars for the appearance on the outside. Im extremely disappointed and I will never come back.
Give this place some time and this will be the spot to go to in Daphne. Great views, great menu, great drinks, great atmosphere.
Came in. Sign said seat yourself. We sat ourselves.Never once did a server greet us or take our order.We waited for a good 20+ minutes. At least 3 or 4 different servers walked past us. None of them said a word.I can't comment on the quality of the food. It sure smelled good. Would have been nice if we weren't ignored.
Freshly remodeled it's a great spot off the beaten path. Food is delicious and service is great! Can't beat the sunsets. Monday nights they have karaoke!
We just moved near here. We walked to the restaurant and found it was a very nice, clean restaurant. Very friendly people and to top it off the meal was great. We will be back often.

Loved sitting outside. The weather was Perfect…The food was Delicious and our server Jessica was very attentive. Can’t wait to go back
