Went here two months ago and the lobby was open. Got two matching boxes, wing and breast, one wing was nice size and the other wing looked deformed and super tiny. I approached the counter and was ignored. Eat the food while hot or complain? Also, mashed potatoes were only 1/2 full.Stopped five days ago to give them a second chance, about 7:10 Sunday night. The big sign out front read, LOBBY IS OPEN. So we got out of the car and discovered that the doors were locked. Drive through customer told us, "they are closed on the inside."When I looked through the door, two employees were pointing in my direction and laughing, almost to say, "Our sign got another fool to get out of his car."I am so sick of hearing about shortages and employees and understaffed. If you can't deliver on your promises, close your doors for real and let the other restaurants sell the chicken like Zaxby's or Chick-Fil-A. At least they care.
The service was really, really slow. From start to finish was 15 - 20 minutes. I ordered a spicy chicken sandwich combo but got the regular sandwich. The person in the drive though was also doing call ahead orders, it took three trips to the same car to get the order right. My expectations were not very high and they were able to beneath them.
My step-sister and I went through the drive thru tonight, I was honestly taken aback at how wonderful the experience was. There was a small line when we arrived at 8:21, but it went pretty quickly. It gave my stepsister and I enough time to give each other head scratches and a neck massage. Nothing weird. The ordering process was quick and efficient. The employee on the other side of the grated speaker was kind and even paused to ask how my stepmother Patricia was doing. (We are frequent visitors of this fine establishment.) Payment and receipt of food went about as smoothly as you’d expect, almost as smooth as a corn snake’s backside. When we arrived at my humble trailer 5 minutes later, we absolutely tore into the food. We both got the tenders, one box spicy and the other one mild. The skin of the tenders crackled betwixt our teeth. The fries crunched with every bite. The biscuits almost choking us but in the good way, their soft, supple crumbs getting everywhere.(Purely my fault, I don’t own napkins. Thanks economy!)All in all, I give this fast dining establishment a solid 8/8 for this visit. My stepsister and I thank you.
The biscuit and chicken strips were dead and dry. But the flounder fish sandwich and mashed potatoes were great!!!
Always fresh & hot. The new manager is really attentive and has great customer service personality. She is what this popeys needs.
50% chance of getting your order right. They've messed up 3/4 of my last visits though. Whoever bags the orders needs to be moved to a different job.
The owner of this Popeyes should be embarrassed of their operating this week.I placed a mobile order and arrived at Popeyes around 8:20pm to be yelled at by workers in the parking lot that “we closed” multiple times. I tried to tell them I already paid for an order but they just keep saying “we closed” and walk away.I have to pull around and knock on the window to get who I assume is the manager, who claims they close at 8pm due to short staff, when 5 workers are present in sight bagging food. Turns out that they are actually open, just only filling doordash orders. I informed her that I wanted a refund and that this was the second night this week they have closed early with no sign or hours adjusted online anywhere. She claimed that it is beyond her control and refunded my money, then preceded to tell me how she doesn’t like when McDonald’s forgets cheese on her cheeseburger as if that is comparison at all to me paying for an order and then being yelled at “we closed” as of I’m supposed to just drive away having lost money, like oh well, they got me this time!I told her I would email corporate trying to get the hours changed, and then magically, not only did the restaurant open to me, but I was offered free food! I don’t know if this was an attempt at a bribe, but it didn’t work. I did accept the food, but here I am writing this review and still contacting Customer Support.
Haven't eaten here yet and I don't think I ever will, I deliver from there as a food delivery driver and the rudeness and outrageous amount of disrespect I get from this location almost every time I pick up food but today was the absolute worst. Nobody should ever talk to someone the way I was talked to today over a simple miscommunication on their part, I'll go to Chick FIL A, they at least are kind and very professional there and their food is great.
They do not accept gift cards, even thought I called beforehand and was told they do.
Ate delicious 2 piece chicken dinner w/red beans & rice and Cajun gravy & mashed potatoes! All for $6! Food was fresh. The amazing staff allowed us to substitute 2 huge chicken breasts!
