The food was good. Steak was prepared to order. Our server simply seemed annoyed by our large group. Absolutely every request frazzled her. She wasn't rude, but seemed irritated she had to wait on us. I understand large groups are difficult, but that is part of waiting tables. I have been a server myself. Please understand this was not a new, inexperienced server. She was irritated, not nervous.
The food was amazing and hot. Got a to go order make sure your right there waiting if you want it hot. Only thing is second time I’ve ate here and my tummy gets upset but maybe just me. To go lady did a amazing job.
i know how busy this place can get so i’m glad to have not had to wait for a table. went on a thursday night for laid back dinner and LongHorn was a good choice. our server, Clay was incredible. he knew the menu like the back of his hand. it was him who had recommended the Wild West Shrimps and the NewYork Strip and it didn’t dissatisfy us at all. he made the whole experience a 5/5.
So we have been eating at longhorn in Daphne for years and use to be our go to place to eat! At least once a week! It has slowly become the restaurant we avoid now. Here lately our steaks have been way over cooked and service has be horrible. We decided to give it another try yesterday and I would just order something other than steak. I am not a picky person at all and only have a very few things that I absolutely HATE...one of them being ranch. I looked over the menu and decided to try the Parmesan Crusted Chicken "Grilled chicken breast topped with our creamy Parmesan and garlic cheese crust. Available in 9oz., 12oz." This is right off the menu. So when I get my food and take a big bite of my chicken I instantly realized it is covered in RANCH not "creamy parmesan". When I say I HATE ranch that is I mean so I lost my appetite and didn't touch it or the baked potato that came with it. When the server came back around I explained this to her so she took the plate away. My husband finished his plate and when the ticket came I was still charged for my plate even tho I didn't eat it. We waited for about 15 minutes to ask the server about it but she literally hid in the kitchen the whole time so we just left cash. I would not have ordered that plate if on the menu it listed ranch as the sauce that cover the chicken! You guys should really change your menu and include the right ingredients for your meals! I will not be returning after this time.
Will be back beth was our server and she was great knowing our date night was the first time there . She talked to us and waited on on her section with her other customers she was wonderful server. Thank you long horn for hiring Beth best server of the month
I decided to take my wife and 3 young kids here last night. We arrived and l there was a 30 minute wait. Which was odd since less than half the tables were occupied. I figured Covid protocols. But when we were seated I realized they were piling everyone in one section. Which would have been fine if the service wasn't atrocious. The server took at least 10-15 minutes to greet us and take our drink order. Then everytime she returned, which was very rare, it took away least 10-15 minutes before we'd see her again. Keep in mind that she wasn't busy with tables. She would disappear to the kitchen the whole time. I'm sure you can imagine how that went with 3 impatient kids. I can't say that I'm boycotting the place because everyone else was very kind and accommodating. The food was also very good. But last night was frustrating. It will be a while before I go back.
Staff was terrific, the steak was definitely sub par. It's not that hard to take even a low quality steak and make it good, I am not sure the manager can recognise a great steak from an average one or it could be the cook was new or just having a bad night. Seemed like a cheap cut of meat, served up less than average which is a shame as it's a steakhouse, the one thing you need to get right. The potatoes, vegtables and salads we're above though and as I said the staff was great! Would go back and recommend it but just not the steak at this time
This use to be my absolute go to for a steak I didn't want to cook myself, but I wasn't impressed with my experience this time. Ordered chicken wings, they came out with feathers still attached(I know chickens have feathers, but I don't want to look at them before I bite into the wing!) Ordered my ribeye medium and it wasn't hot, just warm. Ordered brussel sprouts as the side and recieved more of the leaves than the actual sprouts. They did remake the wings and I paid the entire check no discounts along with an 18% tip. I didn't go during peak hours, it was after lunch, not many people in the restaurant, so I really can't understand the food being just "ok". Those steaks are $20+ and I don't mind what they cost, I know exactly what to expect when I walk through the doors, but I also expect to get what I pay for in return.
Good service, delicious food (try the full rack of baby back ribs if you dare)! Always a very good dining option
