Quick summary: a variety of subs in various sizes, reasonably priced. Fresh ingredients. Too bad that the only ham they have is honey ham - meat should be savory, not sweet. We stopped by during a road trip. My husband and I usually split some version of an Italian foot-long sub, cut in three pieces (1/3 for me, 2/3 for him. ($10.59) The bread roll here is very good. Too bad that the only ham they had was honey ham. We figured that it couldn't be that bad as there would also be salami and pepperoni in it. WRONG. The horrible sweetness came through. Unfortunately, the ham was actually a ham bomb - LOTS of ham, which some might think nice, but it tasted unbalanced compared to the other meats, The veggies on it were good, though. So - we might come back some time for a different sandwich, but would go elsewhere if in the mood for a true Italian sub.
Firehouse is always the best sub sandwich spot. My favorite is the barbecue brisket but every sub I've ever had there has been great. I also like that they help so many organizations.

I have been going to this firehouse subs for over 5 years..walked in and was greeted with an unwelcome hello..Ordered a Philly cheesesteak with no mushrooms..I asked for an extra pickle spear like I have done over the years with no problems or charge..when I received my order I asked if the extra pickle was there and was told no but was going to get one for me when I would guess the franchise’s owner told the server not to give one..I asked politely and was told there is a shortage on pickles, a flat out a lie. They want to profit from my years of rounding up my total, the owner needs more training with customer service..
I ordered a turkey bread and cheese sandwich and literally gave me everything on the menu. It wasn’t even funny. Get a life.
Got my usual. Jerk turkey sandwich on wheat. It is my favorite sandwich that yhey offer. I like the Cajun chicken also.
