I enjoy going to David's Catfish Express. It is a great place to grab a quick bite of seafood. The drive thru is a great thing and has quick service. The choices on the menu have grown and gives you a lot to pick from. We came here to pickup takeout for lunch. My wife got a 3 piece catfish basket. She said it was fried crisp and really enjoyed it. I wanted to try the Shrimp Po-boy. I have had the fish before and prefer to eat that at the actual restaurant in Spanish Fort. The po-boy was loaded with great tasting shrimp and had a soft bread that made it easy to eat. The fries were soggy and not special. That could be due to it being in the takeout box for 10 minutes so who knows. I will try a few more things they have to offer and review those items too. We will be back and look forward to another visit.
Love the convenience of the drive thru. Still the same good fish but miss the cole slaw.
Fish hard overcooked... does not takes very good... not worth the $15 I paid 4pc fish strip comb... horrible for a lunch visit
The most fulfilling restaurant we encountered on 98. The food was hot & good. Had that "sea" food taste. The slaw is a nice size portion and is tasteful. The customer service was a 10 out of 10!!
It’s good catfish, fast service, staff not the most friendly, a little pricey for a fast food style restaurant in my opinion. But satisfied my catfish craving.
My husband and I just stopped by and had this for the very first time. INCREDIBLE!!! Food was fresh and flavorful. The cheese grits and coleslaw are my absolute favorite. We'll definitely be returning.
Great catfish, same basic offerings as the other location on 31. Pretty quick service, great catfish,good hushpuppies, pretty good fries, really sweet coleslaw - not really to my liking, overall very good. Will go back.
The coleslaw is marvelous. Hush puppies are a little sweet. Fish needs to have some flavor. But other than that it's a great place to eat.
Blackened Fish is good. Hushpuppies were awful & hard, no flavor. The cheese grits had a good texture but didn't have any cheese or seasoning. Probably won't return
