My husband and I went to eat here for a date night and it was the perfect choice. The staff was very efficient, never skipping a beat. Our food came out in perfect intervals and our drinks were always full. It was my first time trying gator and it was delicious. I loved my pasta, everything was cooked and seasoned perfectly. The red beans and rice was so good. Can't wait to eat here again, would love to try the brunch menu. Also we chose to eat indoors, but the patio and view of the bay is beautiful.
This was actually our second choice for dinner and we're glad we couldn't get into our first! Excellent atmosphere, service and menu. The gumbo was wonderful and the crawfish ettoufe was excellent. Try the fried green tomatoes, you won't be disappointed. Plan on stopping in the next time we pass through Mobile.
We are brunchy ppl - but, thinking we are missing out! Loved the menu options - cajun inspired with a good mix of traditional and seafood. Husband got the zydeco with gator sausage and loved it. I got the chicken and waffles with gouda grits and Conecuh bacon. Very tasty and just right amount of food for lighter appetite. I enjoyed the $2 mimosas for sure! My only complaint is the receipt - they start 1t 20% for the "suggested tipping"!!! Come on, y'all! For real - 20 use to be the top tier and that wasn't that long ago! Most places still start at 15%.
Mardi gras pasta is good. So are the burgers.
We just arrived in Daphne and a gentleman we were talking to recommended dinner here. I'm so glad we listened. Our server, Sam, was super nice. He made a couple great recommendations from the menu and he was correct. The service was prompt and the food excellent. I would recommend the Voodoo pasta with blackened gator. All of our dished were delicious but that dish seemed to be "it". It is a bit more expensive but worth it. If the weather permits, sitting outside looking at the bay was very nice.
Great spot for dinner on the Bay! Perfect sunset views from the deck, plus casual seating to share drinks and great times with friends around the fire tables. The Filet Mignon is so delicious, paired with mashed potatoes and green beans. Lots of cajun entrees to pick from, so you really can’t go wrong with anything. Very friendly staff and great service!
Had my daughter’s pre-birthday dinner here. It was everything and more. Everyone in the dinner party were on FaceTime this morning talking about the food they ordered, and they all had nothing but great things to say. Now I have to go back so yesI can get the greens ??. I had the seafood platter and it was the bomb. For dessert, I got the bread pudding and I must say that it was second best to my grand ma’s. I recommend this place and I can’t cover the two most awesome people I have ever met, Madison and Autumn. They both treated us very well and we had so much fun with them! They will for sure see us bake there again. This time we will get there early to be able to sit outside to have dinner! . Must say better food than the ones on the Causeway ❤️
