We stopped in at 1:30am . Grits were supposed to have been fresh. They were thick and tasted gross. My husband's food was messed up. My waffle so cold the butter would not melt ( 1/4 teaspoon butter). The gravy and biscuit was not fresh. The tea was colored water. The person that did the waffle. They scrapped the toaster with the waffle Pic then scrapped food off the counter. Then they wiped it down (the waffle pick) with a dirty towel and pulled up a waffle. I brought this to the managers attention. She said nothing. This place is really gross. I understand about lack of workers. But there was 6 employees there.
Food was great service was great. The one star is for a particular waitress who didn't even serve me. She spent most of my meal complaining she had to do her job. While checking out in line with a total of 2 people me being the second one. She literally walked off rather than takey money. Hopefully this gets managments attention. To find out who she is just ask every employee there.
The servers are courteous and helpful. I love the way they cook my eggs over easy and the hash browns are great. We didn't have to wait long for our food.
Outstanding. May be the best grilled cheese in Cullman county. Coffee was strong enough to stand a fork in it. One of my favorites. Pretty waitresses as well.
What a delightful stop along the road. Friendly, helpful, delicious food delivered with a smile. Simply the BEST!
We love. love. love. this Cullman Waffle House! Charles and the team are The Best! We take our homeschool group there once a week after music lessons, and it's something that we really look forward to. The food is delicious, the service is genuine & friendly, and it's nice & clean. I actually think that the children will be keeping up with their music, just because of this darling Waffle House tradition. :D...and that, makes me very happy.
Oh my God I can't even put into words what a delight this visit was. From the start when we walked in the door we were offered coffee while waiting for our table. Staff was so informative and so very nice. I can't thank our server Charles enough for such a wonderful time. I will definitely be back!!!! Also, very clean!!
It used to be a decent place to go in Cullman. There is one waitress that just ruins the experience. She is rude, and if she works nights, she will shut down HALF the restaurant around 1700(5 pm) or so. She doesn't want to deal with a lot of customers. We've told a manager and nothing has happened. We won't go in there if she's working. One night, there was 8 of us fixing to go in and she rushed to close down that side before we all got inside. We all walked off. Very rude.
This waffle house is definitely one of it's kind lol I can tell you I worked for waffle house at few different places and on Christmas day it got so busy was back to back we had people lined up outside the doors and still had to pick up the phone for to go orders! At every waffle house I worked for this year don't try you have a waitress that picks up the phone and say oh honey we don't do to go orders on Christmas you have to come in and order on Christmas what a joke what you can't take a order for 3 waffles are you joking me? I can say that she must be a lazy waitress or not a very good one if she can't take a few tables and take a to go that's money I would jump for that lol I would walk out for just a couple hours working at waffle house on Christmas with about 400 every Christmas I wanted the big section as well as many to go orders as I could take that's what makes your paycheck bigger that's ok be thing complain about it you don't need a job you don't need be a waitress if you can't multitask! But besides that I have always enjoyed eating here and always had a decent waitress.
