This place is absolutely amazing. The food is fresh and tastes home made. I cannot believe I have this good of a Mexican restaurant so close my home. This place fills up fast so come early! For reference, my wife is Hispanic, and her and her family agree this is the best food they've been able to get outside of South Texas.

Ordered take out when no one was there. I was waiting for my order when a baseball team came in. The staff rushed to slide tables together and sweep the floor. They completely forgot about me, I waited almost an hour. When I asked about my order the person at the cashier was rude. I just left. I'm sticking to Margaronas and Buenovista. They need to keep their restaurant cleaner and learn to be more polite.

Good food, friendly servive.

This is a True Spanish food restaurant! The atmosphere is amazing. All the staff are awesome too! All the food is extremely good and tastes just like I was vacationing in Mexico. They have some of the best Quesadillas and Tacos I have ever had. This is definitely a must stop location if you're in Cullman County.

Today my husband & I tried Taqueria for the 1st time. The outside of the place is nondescript, typical. The sign is a bit faded, but don't let any of that steer you away. Inside it's bright, cheery, & with a friendly staff. What we really were impressed with was the chips & salsa we received after seating ourselves - we were told to sit anywhere we liked. Our waitress brought a basket of chips, along with a small carafe of salsa, two small plastic bowls to pour the salsa into, plus two small bowls of other salsa - one green & one reddish orange - plus a small bowl of chopped fresh cilantro & onions, & another small with fresh slices of limes. First time we've experienced anything so impressive, even in Mexico! We squeezed a bit of lime juice into our salsa bowls & added the onion & cilantro to make our own custom salsa. It was delicious. Then we ordered a $10.99 Fajita plate to share. We were brought a huge platter with steak (choice was steak or chicken unless you wanted to pay more to 3 meats) with the steak, onions, & peppers on it, alongside salad, refried beans (which were pretty runny but tasted good), & rice, along with 3 fresh flour tortillas & an extra plate. The iced tea was great. The temp in the restaurant wasn't arctic, but comfortable, & our tea glasses were refilled long before they were anywhere near empty. Friendly service & great food - what's not to love! Cullman is loaded with good Mexican food, but Taqueria has been moved to the top of our fave list.

AuthenticReal deal Spanish-MexicanWhen they say spicy- they mean itImmediately provided chips w 3 salsas, w varying degrees of heat. (Won't c that anywhere else in AL)Been awhile since a waiter warned about the levels, & Meant ItInterior super clean, casual & friendly, staff r super kind, helpful, & energeticThey gots a TV on, no one watching ‍The food is superbThe Camarones A Diabla were right on. As describedHOTT Highly recommendCan't wait to get back to the enchanting Cullman, Alabami;Home of the caliente ;)

Great Place to eat. The street tacos are amazing, food is made to order so be patient. The service is great, restaurant is very clean.

I've been to my fair share of Mexican restaurants in the US, but none have compared to Taqueria Las Cebollitas.I haven't been to Mexico, so I'm not the greatest judge, but the food here is the most authentic I have ever had. The burritos, enchiladas, tacos, sopas, cactus, cow tongue; the whole menu provides diverse, perfected dishes at incredibly low prices! Plus! The salsa is served in a way like no other Mexican restaurant. You're served red, green, & orange salsas along with lime, cilantro & freshly diced onion, and you're able to make your perfect salsa from these. They also have a great Mexican beer selection for being in Cullman. The service is typically solid & attentive, but the servers aren't the engaging type. The plating is done pretty well. The atmosphere feels a little closed/overwhelming, but I think it's the best for the space given. If you're looking for the best restaurants in Alabama, go to Taqueria Las Cebollitas. This spot helped me understand the depth of the art of cooking a little bit better. For the same prices you would get at a Tex Mex, you get totally elevated meals. To whomever the chef behind this magic is, gracias.

We were told about this gem of a place from my wife's co-workers. We went in for lunch with no expectations, but were completely blown away. The chips were not the best in town, but their salsa selection blows the competition away, so that alone is a win.My wife had the steak chimichanga, while I wanted to try their taco carnitas. We were not disappointed and truly enjoyed every bite. The interior decor is beautiful and brightly lit, where other locations are dark and suspect. The staff was very friendly and prompt on service. We cannot wait until our next visit.

Excellent food but they don’t offer all they used to and you’ll spend a small fortune on tacos
