Great food and workers as usual!
Waitress was really nice and hard working
Visiting my Mother and extended family. We decided to go to lunch at CB, because of the variety and experience. The Old Country Store was stocked and organized and smelled great. We were greeted as soon as we started to walk through the front. It was shortly after lunch so we were seated quickly. The restaurant was very clean and I noticed that they were consistently cleaning up after guests. The waitress was amazing and so friendly. She made us feel very welcome. After we decided what we wanted she arrived like magic and asked if we're ready to order. Our food came out in good time and was hot and fresh. Again, our waitress was amazing. She anticipated our needs and made sure we didn't want for anything. This experience was great and it made the time with family extra special. I have visited this Cracker Barrel many times and I have been impressed by the service and food every time. Please continue making everyone feel at home.Thank you to all the staff at the Cracker Barrel Old Country Store on highway 157 in Cullman, AL. You all are the perfect example of great food and great service in my opinion. 5 stars is 5 stars here.
Really hate to say this, but our experience was not good. We arrived at 1030, hoping to miss the lunch crowd as there were not a lot of cars in the parking lot and we walked right up to the hostess. We asked for lunch menus but we're told that lunch didn't start until 1100. Reluctantly we ordered from the breakfast menu and added green beans since they were ready. 40 minutes later we received our cold gravy, country fried steak, & piping hot green beans. We had also ordered mimosas that were horrible. They must have come out of a can, as they were warm, very tart, and just not good.
Horrible experience. Food was the worst we had ever been served. The chicken tenders were all breading and no chicken. The rolls were rock hard and flat. The pancakes were hard and cold. Roast beef was all fat. The gravy had three times the amount of pepper required.
Waitress was great. Food serves pretty fast even though they were extremely busy. Always like the Southern Fried Chicken. Corn was a little bland, but the hash brown casserole was great.
Restaurant was FREEZING, customers behind us were incredibly loud, service was slow acknowledging even seating us, ordering was slow. Positives food was good, wait person was attentive, got orders correct, and wasn't annoying. Cashier was friendly, and quick.
Traveling through. Great service and good food ?
One of the best Cracker Barrel’s I have ever been too. Great customer service the food was excellent. I would highly recommend the Sugar Plum Mimosa and Chicken Fried Chicken.
This is one of the best locations in Alabama, and it is one of the busiest Cracker Barrels in the country as far as total sales. I can see why. I have traveled all over the south to different Cracker Barrels and this is one of the best. No matter how packed they are, this is one Cracker Barrel that won't leave you waiting long. Even with a packed house with a full parking lot- I have never waited more than 15 minutes. The food is always great- even later at night. I have never had bad service, and they are just the friendliest around. I wish corporate would bring back favorites like the Chicken and Rice and Baked apple dumplin. I also hate that they got rid of the haddock. Cracker Barrel as a whole seems to be going the wrong direction with the menu as noted by the numerous comments on facebook. It would also be great if they would make Broccoli Cheddar Chicken a daily feature. But if you enjoy Cracker Barrel this is a great one to visit.
