I just traveled back in time! I had their cheeseburger made with a meat patty mixed with bread like old timey diners used to do. I had not been to the bee in over 20 years so this was a real treat. The fries were good and the customer service was great. If you like diners with just good ole cooking, this is the place to go.
We really enjoyed our visit to this historic diner. The waitress was very nice and accommodating even tho we arrived only 15 minutes before closing time. Food was very good and we both said if we worked in the downtown district we could see ourselves eating there every single day. We not only ate dinner but ordered another dinner to go, since we live a couple of hours away. Prices were amazingly low.
I had fried green tomatoes. They were AWESOME! I had some fried pickles also. They were delicious, but just a bit greasy. I phoned in our order, and even tho it was sitting by the register waiting when I walked in...the food was still hot. Sweet cashier with a smile too.Can't wait to eat here again.
Still five stars for busy bee! Still the same great service . I had a hamburger and onion rings (cooked to perfection) and hubby had the cheeseburger and fries. It was like stepping back in time for us since it has been awhile. But it was just like we remembered??
I love this place! My oldest granddaughter and I have a tradition of going for breakfast...the staff is always friendly and food is always on point! Memories ill cherish a lifetime with my Grand!
Went there a few months back everything was really good!! This time gravy cold, biscuit rock hard. Tea had no flavour (added lemon)!!! Wake up do your work !!! Will not go back.
My hamburger tasted like the patty was a mix of potato and meat. YUCK! My wife liked her barbecue pork sandwich. Will be back for a second chance sometime next year.
