The food is a good 4 star, but I'm giving a 5 rating for location. Now I can finally get a burrito bowl without driving all the way to Trussville or downtown, excellent convenience location right off of the highway. I'll be a frequent flyer here.Now, onto the food.The chicken was standard, nothing to criticize or right home about.The al pastor is good, well seasoned with nice juicy chunks of pineapple.The campechano was good and well seasoned, but I'm pretty sure it was just ground beef instead of a beef & chorizo blend. I don't mind, it was still delicious.The beans & rice are nicely seasoned and tender, and they put fajita peppers in the bowl.I'm pretty sure they use Herdez creamy salsa verde, but that's the sauce I use at home too, so it's fine.The portions are a good size, especially the bowl. Next time I go, I'm trying the carnitas, the asada and the chorizo.edit: I tried the asada and chorizo. The asada could use a little more flavor, but the texture is good. The chorizo could use a little more flavor too, but it was fine.
Amazing food, tacos are super great! I gotta warn you, the burritos are habit forming and HUGE. Fish tacos are delicious. The cheese fries are a bit different but still very good. I’ve eaten here 15 times according to Uber eats and I’ll probably eat here 15 more times.

I never leave reviews or rate anything but this taco joint is far the BEST tacos I’ve her had! If you’re ever in Birmingham you must go eat at Urbano taco bar!
If you want a taste of Mexican food you’re better off going to Taco Bell! THREE dollars for a pork taco that was dry and flavorless is just not worth it. A taco bowl with gummy rice, canned beans, and salted chicken is not my idea of tasty no matter what else it’s topped with. Chipotle for me again because Urbano will not see me again! Save your money
