We had never eaten at The Yard but we will definitely do it again !! It was excellent and the service attentive but not hovering

Worst service we’ve experienced in multiple years. We were a table of 2, and there were only ~5 or 6 other tables of guests (restaurant was less than 1/2 full in total). We were seated and the manager (?) immediately brought us 2 waters. Great start. However, we then proceeded to wait for no less than 20 minutes before a waitress ever came to our table or even addressed/spoke with us. This was only AFTER I went to speak with the hostess-TWICE (once at ~13 minutes and once at 20 minutes)-about how we had not yet seen or spoken to a waitress. We watched all of the waitresses (including ours) address, attend to, talk to, bring food to, and check-up on every other table with people, MULTIPLE times, before I went back to the hostess (for the second time) and the hostess went to get our waitress. In a way, the ignoring of our table felt purposeful and deliberate. It’s like to staff didn’t even want to look at us. Once we received our food, our waitress NEVER came back to check on us (or refill our waters) until I had to flag her down to ask for the check. In sum, food was ok; kind of bland. However, worst service since pre-pandemic. Stated another way, we haven’t had service that bad in multiple, multiple years. What a shame! I hate to imagine the level of service on a night where more than 50% of the tables are full. Yikes!

The worst restaurant experience ever. Slowest service ever blamed on low staffing in the kitchen. No effort to make any accommodations. Brought the full bill to the table even though we didn’t receive the second or third courses we ordered. My advice… stay away from The Yard.

Food was fabulous- waiter was wonderful and attentive and knowledgeable about menu!

Definitely overpriced, atmosphere not elegant More like a place for quick casual lunch

Food was good. Menu entrees a little limited.

Burger is good. The Pasta with shrimps a bit expensive and the steak a bit small. But everything has a good taste. And service is really gentle! Also nice choice of wines.

Excellent menu and great service in a really interesting venue. Highly recommend.

The prices made my eyes water but I got over it and ordered the salmon. It was very simply prepared but one of the best pieces of salmon I’ve ever had. How do chefs get their fish cooked but still completely moist throughout? Maybe it’s low temperature roasting. In any case it was fantastic and served hot as was the rice pilaf that accompanied it with green beans and Brussels sprouts mixed in. The rice was completely separate and fluffy. How dey do dat? Excellent.

First time visiting. Will be returning. Waiting team was awesome and attentive.
