Love Red Cat! The service is friendly and there’s tons of unique drink options. I recommend the bengal latte (hot or iced) if you like a mixed coffee and chocolate drink.
Our hotel was right down the block and decided to go here for coffee and breakfast on our first morning in Birmingham. Coffee was great, blueberry muffin was amazing, breakfast bowl as delicious as well. We ended up grabbing breakfast here again the next morning. Highly recommend.
Stopped by while on a work trip and had a lovely lunch. Staff were friendly and the vibe was perfect for working, studying, or chatting. Right across the street from Railroad Park if you fancy a post-lunch stroll. Will definitely be back in my future travels.
Delicious and unique flavors!! This location is convenient for a quick stop for coffee if you’re walking at Railroad Park! Popped in for something warm to drink due to the cold and turns out… they serve beautifully flavored lattes! Love the details they did naming the flavors after cats!!
Red Cat is my go to coffee shop. Their signature lattes and teas always hit the spot (definitely try the abyssinian). Shop's proximity to railroad park is a huge plus. Sometimes hard to find a place to sit down but usually something opens up before you get the drink. Parking can be a little tricky but I just park by the labcorps building and walk down the block.
I love this place. It's what got me into coffee years ago. I've never had their coffee not on point. The staff is super friendly. I love running over from railroad Park. You can't go wrong with any of their brews. Just pick something that sounds good to you and you'll probably like it. I'm a fan of getting anything with coconut or caramel in it personally, but even their normal brew with nothing but milk is great! If you haven't been here give them a whirl.
My husband I went to this coffee shop for the first Tim and was very pleased and we will be back. Everyone was very helpful and friendly !
Just moved to Alabama and glad we tried this spot! My husband got a sandwich and I got the grits with their pumpkin choco chip muffin- ahhhmazing! Service was nice too. Will definitely return again.

Love the lattes, the Gouda grits (YUM) and the crepes are really good too when they have them. A little small for dining in, but outside has great table options for outdoor dining.
