Sooooo excited they're open again! This is a hidden little gem in Avondale. It's a true "speak easy" and a delightful place to relax, have a drink and enjoy conversation. It's comfortable, the music isn't loud and never over crowded.

Wonderful cozy speakeasy tucked away in Avondale. You enter by walking up a staircase into a vestibule with a pay phone. Pick up the receiver and tell the person who answers how many are in your party - then the magic begins. The bartenders mix up amazing drinks while you enjoy the atmosphere. It's a step back in time with awesome modern cocktails. Both of our bartenders were great and I can't wait to return.
One of my favorite places in Birmingham. The staff has personality, the atmosphere is very upbeat and inviting, and the drinks are incredible. I took my girlfriend for her birthday and start made every effort to make the experience unique and entertaining for her.
My friends and I had a lovely time here, at first. One pal and I lingered until closing, and tabbed out and tipped our lovely bartenders. On the way out, we got confused since the entry and the exit are different, and it was our first visit. We asked directions from the guy sitting at the bar, who was the boyfriend of a bartender, and he then made every effort to humiliate us for not knowing the layout. The staff did not stick up for us. It honestly ruined an otherwise pleasant bar visit. I cannot recommend this place after the treatment from the staff. They seem to think they're too good for visitors.
Relaxed and cozy speakeasy with some crowd-pleasing cocktails, for the clasically-minded to the adventurous. The space is perfect for a night out with friends that you want to be able to hear. Love this place and so glad it's open again!
It's a neat place. I love the way you walk in through the phone booth. Speakeasies are my jam! But the service was slow, we didnt have a lamp that you pull the cord to get service. Although we had just came in, so they knew we were there. We waited for a while for a drink, which was nothing to write home about.
I attended a wedding reception here and it was a gorgeous venue for the occasion! The balcony seating makes it feel like an entirely different city!
Awesome atmosphere and very comfortable setting. "Private" area was roomy. Service was a little slow but the server made up for it by being amazing.
