Very good food and service.
This was our first. My son wanted to go for his birthday. Our waitress/server, Jess, was friendly and pleasant. She was very attentive to our needs. We will be recommending this location to our friends and family. We look forward to coming back again! The food was delicious and at a great price.
Absolutely terrible! Glass of water was the best part of my experience and the glass wasn’t even clean!
I prefer prefer the taste of the food at this location, however all of your food will not make it in the bag. I called immediately when my husband got home and noticed my salad was missing. The two ladiesI talked to had me on hold for a while because due to a nearly 30 minute drive I didn’t want to drive back so they said they would refund it since the salad was an up charge. I didn’t notice I never received my refund until my husband husband wanted to order again. When placing my order I asked if they could apply the difference since I never received my refund the manager said no I would need a my receipt with the order number. The receipt was lost in that amount of time since I assumed I would be receiving my refund. Never eating here again since this isn’t the first time something didn’t make it home with me that I paid for.
Worth the drive. Saturday afternoon so no wait. Red Beans and Rice were great. John’s Slaw is good. House Special. Great menu selection. Know the location off 280. Very safe and other restaurants and some shopping.
Snapper filets were pretty good and the Hushpuppies were very good. However, The Fish Market on 280 is not as good as on the Southside. West indies salad had very little crabmeat, mostly onions and oil&vinegar. Johns slaw was way too course. That cabbage should be finely shredded. Boiled shrimp was good and Homemade desserts were very good.
Had a great dinner last night. It’s a very casual and friendly atmosphere. Prices are good. The food was extremely fresh and quick. The oysters were delicious. And our waitress was great.
I love the Greek or Athenian Snapper and the gumbo. I am also a fan of the fried green tomatoes. You really can't go wrong as it is all fresh and tasty. Their desserts are also yummy. Wonderful place to come with a large group. Spacious and casual.
Food was tasty. Portions were plenty. Waiter was a bit slow on drink refills. Perhaps he did not want to interrupt our conversation. Overall a tasty experience!
This was our first time at this location. There’s also one in Hoover. I prefer this location, the ambience was nicer. The wait staff were friendly and helpful. The restaurant is clean, large, and spacious.Today we ordered the Caribbean Salmon with rice and potatoes, it also came with two hush puppies, the wagyu burger with fries, and the fish tacos. The food was delicious. There are many choices on the menu, almost overwhelming, but I did love the options! I already know what I want to order next time. Highly recommended. Good for date nights too.
